Best place to stay in Kodiak.
Room I had was really small. Crud in the bathtub area. Bath counter really low, maybe 26 “. Cookies at check-in were excellent. Hosts were friendly, breakfast was convenient and the coffee was fresh.
Comfortable room although dark. Good food in the restaurant. Good location.
Love Kodiak - this is a fine place to stay especially when staging for a back country adventure.
The rooms were clean and comfortable; the complimentary breakfast was excellent, especially for a small town like Kodiak.
Hotel is one of only two branded hotels in Kodiak. Is well run and the staff is as helpful as they can be for this location. Is good for Alaska Marian Highway overnights in off season and during high season is hard to get a booking. Would stay there again because is near center of town. Biggest drawback is lack of parking spaces.
Far too expensive for this type of hotel. But, few options if you travelling on the ferry without a car.
Hotel was located a block away from downtown and the Crab Festival. The hotel had a nice restaurant and a lobby. The room was pleasant despite the lack of view.
I stayed at the Best Western Kodiak for two nights in early November on a business trip (not many go to Kodiak in November for pleasure!). It's clean, but somewhat dated; for instance, the trim around my room door had nearly all the finish worn off. Getting to the room with luggage is a challenge; the hotel is built into the side of a mountain, and even if you take the elevator to the second floor, you have to navigate stairs through the breezeway, both down and then back up. Room was very comfortable, although not sound proof; I was awakened early by a neighbors' alarm one morning. Had a very good wifi signal in the room. Hot breakfast (included) was decent. Overall, a good experience; with a few tweaks the Kodiak Inn could be an outstanding hotel.

Thank you for staying with us, we hope you were able to enjoy a "snowy" Kodiak while you were here! We are glad you enjoyed our service, and we look forward to seeing you again if you return to Kodiak.

Alfred, We changed your arrival date to what you intended instead of what was booked through Orbitz, and the amount charged will go towards this future stay. We are sorry there was difficulty with your reservation.
