I was curious about the this hotel and yes, it's a bare bones Super 8 in a high rise. Bed, night tables, bathroom, a board at the wall to put your stuff, that's it. The cleanliness of the room leaves much to be desired. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially with directions to the parking options. The breakfast was decent.

Comfortable but a bit cramped in central Koblenz

Modern hotel in a very central location, an easy walk from the main sights. We heard the hotel is fairly new and the condition is good. But our double room was poorly designed for two people with limited storage space and plenty of opportunity to get in each other’s way. A pity.

Beds were on wheels with no breaks. Sliding everywhere on the laminate flooring creating a gap between the two beds. In middle of night I rolled down the gap mentioned. It hurt.

This is a case of -- you get what you pay for. The hotel is basic, we did not try the breakfast so can't comment on that, there is a small lobby where people seem to gather for beer sold at the front desk, the elevators can get overwhelmed at "rush hours" so that the waits are too much and you walk down the stairs. But it does have a secure bike storage facility in the basement. The rooms are also basic, you essentially store everything in your luggage because there is limited storage in the room, the bathroom/shower are OK but the shower floods if you run it for too long. And there is no cleaning or bed making. However, the location for access to the aldt schtadt could not be better, plus loads of great restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. Particularly recommend India Palace which is a block to the east. If you are slumming it on a bike trip, as we were, it will be fine. But if you have a sensitive spouse looking for creature comforts, take a pass.

Clean, but badly designed room with very basic and impractical amenities. I booked a ‘Superior with 2 Singles’ but that apparently meant a disability room with two single beds joined together by a large sheet that needed separating. Once done, this made the night light and switches intrude where we’d lay our heads, and that would be on thin lumpy pillows. Beds are narrow and on wheels making them move around at the slightest touch. The room is cold, hallow and echoes; IKEA’s most basic design. The toilet is small and very low, the shower curtain is inches above the floor so floods the room. No fridge, no coffee, no carpet, no wardrobe and only hangers on hooks that cannot be practicably used for clothing. There was nothing ‘superior’ about it other than the floor space.

Great value, safe, clean, an in a great location. Although called Super 8 but this is not the same quality as American Super 8. I was confused by how nice it is. This is a legitimate hotel, not a motel.

Buses right in front of the property. Easy to get groceries too! There’s a mall across the street — good for some quick shopping. Love the convenience to get food nearby and even some drinks by the hotel lobby. Toilet sliding door can be smoother. The damaged marks on the walls are evident. Other than that, love it!
