I rented the least expensive bungalow. It had a nice view of the ocean but the private beach was terrific. Picture perfect; though it was shallow. Staff was very friendly and always wore a smile. What I didn't like was the needless long walk to the bridge to get on the beach. Easier access would be helpful and as simple as cutting away some undergrowth. All in all, it was good to stay at the Phangan Bungalows. Will be back someday.
