This place was simply perfect. We had a beachfront bungalow for six nights. The sunsets are gorgeous. The staff is amazing and incredibly accommodating. Our room was very large and nice. We have absolutely beautiful, no complaints. I highly recommend this resort. Scooter rentals available at the front desk for the same prices anywhere else making it very convenient. There’s a 7-Eleven right across the street to buy snacks or drinks at and lots of restaurants. Food stands, and shops within walking distance.

Ill start firstly by saying we stayed during the low season, so im not sure if things such as breakfast would have been better, but it was below average for us. We would have been better to walk up the road to get something for breakfast, we only stayed two nights so just dealt with it. We have a two bedroom bungalow, the rooms themselves were okay, bathrooms were pretty awful and scuddy. Staff were so friendly, helpful and kind, that made the stay better. We liked the location, right on the beach, the pool was small but fine. Close to some resturants right on the beach with amazing thai food. Staff assisted us to rent a car so we could explore the island. However, we wouldnt stay here again, the bungalow is very run down and old

Terrible nights sleep

Literally has the worst experience in this place. The weird guy who works in reception was a total sleezball and made me feel v uncomfortable the way he spoke to me and was v creepy. The bungalow is right on the road and no insulation whatsoever. Also walls between the bungalows are paper thin and u could hear neighbours coughing/going to the toilet as if they were in the same room as me. Motorbikes going past loudly all night kept me awake. Cheap everything inside. Old horse blankets on bed. Very expensive place: paid £90 p/n for this compared to other places it’s a rip off. Stayed one night and checked out first thing. Couldn’t stomach being around creepy reception guy any more. Food is pretty good but apart from that I recommend going elsewhere.

Overpriced

The rooms were comfortable albeit very basic. Some staff very lovely, others very surly. The food was canned/frozen food heated up with canned sauces but they charged higher prices than other places in area. If u stay here, eat elsewhere. They also dont understand cross-contamination. 1 lady touched & picked up every raw fish, crab & prawn in the bin then without washing went to deliver food to tables and fill buffet table. . . Laundry was fast. Alcohol only from bar next door as its muslim-run. Drink pricrs quite high, too. Absolutely no beach toys- no floaties, no kayaks, no paddleboards, nothing and only 6 umbrellas for whole resort. Eally overpriced for what u get.

It was a Jurassic park. 10 mins after we moved in a beach view room, we found a 5" long home-lizard crawling around in the headboard. We were then changed to a garden view room. It was fine the first night. We had another encounter in the 2nd night when we came back after dinner, a big cockcroach was running around in the shower area then it ran into underneath the bed. We spent 20 mins to chase around and get the rid of that scary bug. Shortly after we found a 2" worm on the toilet door (toilet side) and lucky that slow moving worm did not take us much time and effort to handle. The property needs pest control properly done...

Standard room nothing like a superior room. Don't recommend this type of room for long term. Hotel split by highway, back area & beach area rooms. Pool needs proper cleaning & hardy any chairs to sit by pool. Very basic breakfast & selections. Not one of our highlights for our trip!

On the Beach.

This hotel is on the beach but some rooms are across the street. The rooms are clean as is the beach. You’re close to lots of restaurants. They could use some more beach chairs but the bar next door has some with umbrellas.

we arrived on 23rd April 2017 at 4pm. Check in was ok, just show ur itenary and they will give ur room key. our room was A2, deluxe beach front. their staff helped us to carry our bags (please give some tips to them or sadaqah).
