The resort is beautiful, spacious, and surrounded by nature—a perfect place for a quiet stay with family and friends. The breakfast was excellent, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. However, I did experience discrimination during my stay. Although I am German, because I look like I am from the Indian subcontinent, I noticed that European-looking guests were treated more favorably. This was particularly noticeable with one staff member, who seemed to be the manager, which was disappointing since all guests pay the same. Despite this, I enjoyed my time with my family and hope the resort works to ensure equal treatment for all guests in the future.

I have been to many resorts in Thailand and this resort was simply paradise on earth. I would highly recommend this resort. It is worth the money. I would definitely stay here again.

It’s so nice here that we extended. We also spent days just in the resort because the food is amazing and the staff are lovely. It’s gorgeous. Love it here. Addicted to the Thai pork omelette for breakfast. Only good things to say.

A beautiful little resort with impeccable service and great food. Our stay here was wonderful. The hotel's private beach is small and rocky but a few minutes walk from the hotel there is a nice long sandy public beach, so you have options. The dinner here was the best meal we had on the island for our entire trip on Koh Kood. Breakfast was also excellent. The bathroom is completely outdoor, but we didn't have any issues with bugs. The room was beautiful and the grounds of the resort are very well kept. Overall, we totally recommend Shantaa and would come back if we go to Koh Kood again.

Amazing hotel, clean peaceful rooms! Food is outstanding (Grilled fish is a must try on your stay). Staff is friendly and helpful, in particular Kai from reception who speaks perfect English Nothing negative to say aside from a lack of gym which can be found in neighboring hotel.

The resort doesn’t have pool nor TV. Not much a beach neither. However, It’s quite and spacious. Perfect for couples who want to get away from everything else. There’s a spot where you can watch beautiful sunset. The staff is very friendly especially Khun Kai.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Resort.Customer service was excellent!All my requests to staff were met with a smile and taken care of right away.The restaurant served great food and the menu selection was extensive- your choice of Thai and Western entries. The Resort beach although small has a nice swimming area with easy access to a rocky shoreline for snorkeling- we views dozens of species of fish on our swims.We are already planning our next trip to the Resort!
