Peaceful property with lovely common areas

We loved the location, service, sea views and common areas of this property. Even though there isn’t a beach to relax on, chairs and tables along the shoreline allow beautiful and relaxing views, especially at sunset. You can sit by the pool, in the gardens, or on the bar deck next to the shore. Easy walk to a few shops, bars and restaurants. Pleasant breakfast too.

One of the best hotels on Koh Chang. Everything new and perfect. The breakfast could be slightly better and the last hour they not adding anything, so they just have empty plates there for long time...not too good to have it this way.. but I don’t care much.. the rooms are perfect, the pool is amaising, it all looks like a little paradise there.. everything is eco-wood stile.. nicely done. and I know what I am talking about. I stayed in 4 different 4 stars hotels in Koh Chang and I work as a real estate agent. I know how and what should it look like and not just telling it’s good because I had a good time there.. it is good compare to other hotels in the same price range and definitely worth it if you thinking between this one or to save like $20-30 per night and go with a little cheaper option because you found also 4 stars and also looks okey.. my opinion - don’t be cheap.. worth it. Good hotel.

Relaxing week at Gajapuri

We enjoyed a relaxing week at Gajapuri. Loved the “adults only” pool and that there were always sun loungers available; although, one day some loud kids were in there, not sure how enforced the 16 and over only rule is. Also enjoyed the swings down at the beach. We thought breakfast was above average as far as typical Thailand Hotel breakfasts go. The room was lovely as well with a very comfy bed. Only complaint would be that there was a bit of water damage around the shower area but I imagine this is a fact of life In Koh Chang’s climate. The best part about Gajapuri was definitely the peace and quiet and the general vibe of tranquility throughout the property. Hope to stay again in the future!

The setting of the hotel is stunning there is a fabulous view of the mountains in one direction and the ocean in the other. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms and grounds are well maintained. Breakfast is well organised and there is a wide selection that caters for all tastes. Fabulous !!

Fabulous stay at Gajapuri. Best thing was the pool. It’s Long enough to swim lengths and is always empty. No problem therefore securing a comfy sunbed. Really friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend staying.

5 star comfort at 3 star prices!!

Fantastic resort. Very authentic and comfortable. Beautiful pools and restaurants on the beach. My place opened up to the beach. Bungalow is spacious, clean and just lovely. The grounds are beautiful. Did I say that you can get an amazing 2 hour massage on the beach for about $30. Included breakfast was amazing. There are fancier places around but none that are uniquely Thai with all the western comforts. I would definitely stay here again without question.

Fantastic Hotel with adult only section

We really loved our Deluxe Lanai with adult only pool. Also enjoyed the restaurant and cocktails by the beach watching amazing sunsets.

Only negative was Sea was not swimmable during low tides due to rocky bottom. But huge, clean pool makes up for that, and better yet, children under 16 are not allowed at this pool so no screaming and hollering, peaceful. There is separate pool for kids.

Beautiful and relaxing!

This was our first hotel on our holiday and it was the most relaxing and beautiful place to begin. The staff were wonderful, from the moment they met us ato the taxi door to saying goodbye. I don't normally submit reviews and I'm hesitant now because I'd like to keep this one to ourselves! The location, lush gardens, wonderful pool, beach swings, just everything was perfect, the food and drink and room service so cheap we were able to enjoy it without any additional costs. As a single parent it was great to be able to enjoy without worrying about the budget for once! The location was perfect and we were able to wander along the road trying out a different restaurant every night. Already planning our return trip next year!!
