The older building was very outdated and our room was very old in many levels, with carpets on the floor, which I dislike. It is right next to the old town so location wise it is ok. The breakfast room was packed with tourist groups and we were told to come really early so that we would fit in. Breakfast was plentiful. Ok, for a quick stay.
The Hotel faces the Lagoon and port of Klaipeda Excellent views of the Curonian Spit, the Lagoon and the port. Located very near to the Old Town of Klaipeda Modern Hotel with Large Size Rooms Decent Service
Stayed in the newer tower, brilliant views over the sea at a reasonable price. Both bars excellent and breakfast included very good as well. Staff were very helpful and spoke very good English. Very good location within the town and high quality wifi as well. Pool is a bit expensive and busy, but not actually managed by the hotel so can't complain.
Quality corresponds to the price. The location of the hotel is perfect. Friendly staff, clean rooms, soft beds, free wireless internet, tasty breakfast, possibility to visit the spa, many tourist attractions around.
The location of the hotel is good. Some employees appear friendly, others grumpy. The rooms are outdated and look depressing. Food however was fine but the breakfast location is hard to find and a pretty long walk. Lifts operate in a strange way. View in the top bar is nice.
Hotel is splitted into two parts Old building and New one. Do not choice old one - its cheaper, but rooms are really disaster. Rooms in new boulding quite cozy, comfortable and quite. Good restaurant on the top with great view and helpful personel. Parking lot also can be available. Good place to have a good dinner and stay overnight.
4 star (but more than your average English 4 star hotel!) The only hotel in the city of Klaipeda on the Baltic Sea giving panoramic views of the city and the famous international port serving the whole of Lithuania is simply breathtaking! Our suite on the glass fronted 13th Floor which included a bedroom area, lounge and entertainment area with a bathroom larger than most people’s lounges. Cost less than €400 for our week’s stay which included breakfast! The views from the 13th Floor and above are tremendous with a spectacular restaurant on 20th Floor. The hotel provides for many facilities such as childcare, massage, aromatherapy, underground swimming pool, sports centre, steam rooms – you name it, this hotel provides it! It is situated in the centre of the most famous old city shopping centre of Klaipeda which is littered with fashion boutiques, coffee bars, entertainments, casinos, not to mention antiquities off the side streets, riverboat restaurants and is in close proximity to a ferry boat crossing to the Dolphin Arena – quite literally I don’t understand why they don’t charge more for their facilities!! To all Trip Advisors I can highly recommend this hotel - If you find this review helpful please give a ‘Helpful Vote’.
Stayed here for only one night on business. It looks and feels like an old Soviet era tower block, huge reception area but cold and with little character, check in was fast and lady was very friendly. It’s attached to a lap dancing club and by a casino so a little unsure if some of the rooms aren’t used by the hour...if you get my drift..from the clientele. Old lift then took me to a modern room with loads of space including a separate sitting room. Room itself was ok, no issues. Breakfast was very strange, you followed a red line on the floor, up and down stairs, across courtyards and through doors...very odd. Food was ok, but cold eggs, even those being brought out by staff was a tad poor. Probably wouldn’t return, just a bit too odd for me!
Clean and convenient hotel placed in the city center. Cosy rooms with airconditioning and minibar. Parking lot is behind the hotel. To enter it you have to drive through the barrier gate to the multistory parking but then turn left to the ramp leading to the hotel's parking. It costs 5,- euro per day. Rooms are clean and calm. In the evening you can enjoy the city scenery from the panoramic hotel XII on the 12th store. The kitchen is open till 12 p.m. They serve dishes from the charcoal grill placed directly in the center of restaurant. Breakfast is being served in the restaurant in the tower nearby. You can easily find ut when following the orange line from the reception. Prices for the rooms are very attarctive especially in comparison to Vilnius. When arrived in the evening we have been offered a free upgarde of our rooms. It was a nice surprise.
We spent one night in Amberton hotel in Klaipėda and got room in old building. When we entered the room (number 701) the smell was unbearable and we had to open the window to make it little more better. Room was really dated and not worth even two stars. It was cold like hell in the room as well. During the night we felt like someone is crawling on us but we didn’t spent much attention to that, but when we woke up in the morning, there was nothing to describe that what we saw. The bed was actually full of bed bugs, they was crawling everywhere. There was blood stains all over the sheets cause probably we killed some of them during the night. Bugs was full of blood and it was crazy. We collected like 20 bugs into the wine glass to show the reception staff. They acted surprised and we asked for a manager. There was like several staff members assessing the situation and one staff member said that usually people bring bugs with them and referred to us. How rude is that. Then they accepted to refund us our 50 Euro for the night, manager came to apologize and promised to look into the problem and write us but nothing. My wife has red rash all over her body many days after the night in the hotel and we have to go to the doctor to assess the problem little bit deeper. You never know what kind of bugs are those and was they infected or not. So anyone who tries to visit this hotel, please stay away. I have staid in hotels and hostels all over the world and by far this is the worst experience ever. Rather stay in the tent.
