The hotel has no air con. At the moment of check out, the Posnet terminal was not running and the recepnionist wanted me to go to the nearest ATM to withdraw cash. Unbelivable!

Perfect Location next to Neu Platz

This was my 2d stay in a month at the hotel, and this time I had a room with a spectacular view. When the clouds and mountain snow lifted - you looked out across the city towards the mountains and ski runs. I chose the hotel because of its central location and everything is in walking distance from it. Very comfortable bed and then there is a great shower as well. Wonderful front desk staff with some great recommendations on places to eat with local foods. The best was that the staff allowed for me to do a noon checkout and so was able to see more of the city.

It was incredibly hot and humid. The room I had only had a window on one side so there was no cross ventilation. I was supplied with a fan, but it helped very little. I did not complain about this at the hotel as I was busy during the day at a conference and too exhausted at night to make a fuss. I would highly recommend the hotel and stay there again myself. Klagenfurt is a wonderful town to visit.

Front desk staff were excellent. Very helpful. Upgraded us to a suite just to ensure we were able to check in on time and not be delayed. Also very helpful on directions and assistance in area. Dining room staff just average.

Good central location in Klagenfurt.

Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful, breakfast buffet was very good, would be nice if they had classic black tea available - just a suggestion. Restaurant staff very polite and helpful also, and food in the Steakhouse Restaurant was excellent, highly recommend. Room was a single so was small but was all i needed as did not spend long in there.

Great location and very friendly staff. could not be more centrally located. The only downfall would be the lack of air conditioning but it really cold down at night so that was not a huge issue. I would stay here again!

nice location, friendly staff, NO AIR CONDITIONING!! rooms were overheated , which forced us to open the windows and we subsequently did not sleep much for the incredible noise generated by the nocturnal activities of the street cleaners , delivery people etc! Exhausting!

Great hotel in the middle of everything. Central bus stop a few minutes away. Good food and shopping all around the hotel. Hotel is near many historic sites.

Good Hotel in the heart of Klagenfurt.

Nice little hotel right smack in the heart of Klagenfurt. We came for the Annual Beach Volleyball event which is a massive event covering 4 or 5 days. There is a lot of partying going on during this period, so at night sometimes we were awakened by people making a lot of noise out in the street below. The staff was friendly and quite helpful overall. The breakfast which costs about 13 Euros is fantastic. Lots of things to choose from and all fresh. The room is a bit smaller than was expected, and there is no air conditioning. While we were there is was reasonably cool, but hot in the room. We did not want to open the window at night due to the late night noise that sometimes filled the streets outside. AC would bump this hotel a star.

Host Hotel for Ironman Austria - no AC

The Hotel ratings were all high except for the lack of AC in the rooms. The daily temps during our stay (June 30 - July 5) were 30C + which made it very difficult to sleep. The hotel provided fans but they did not help much. Overall did not sleep well.

no AC for a a 4 star hotel. no decent vewntilation system. air was stagnant and claustrophobic. no wonder the plague occured 700 years ago. otherwise staff was great. people were so cheerful.close to downtown but far from the lake.
