The Kaiserhof deserves its rating. From the warm welcome to the constant service with a smile, it felt like a home away from home. The room was on the warmer side, but that was fixed by opening the windows at night. An excellent buffet, lovey European style spa, and convenient ski room wrap up the top rating for this hotel.
For 10 years in a row, one or two times per year we enjoyed 1-2 week long stays in Kaserhof Kitzbuhel. This year something went awfully wrong. To start with, I’ve always booked my stays in Kaiserhof directly, but this time I didn’t receive any response from the hotel on my direct request, so I had to book my stay via booking.com. Upon our arrival we noticed that the whole staff of the hotel has changed, which surprised us a bit. Further, small, but very unpleasant changes became apparent: strange insects appeared in the rooms, shower thermostats in the SPA were broken (I have even slightly burned my skin with a very hot water), etc., etc…. But the most unpleasant thing happened during our check-out. At first, the front-desk manager didn’t ask in which currency my card should be charged. So, he charged my rubble card in USD, which, due to the used overvalued EUR-USD conversion rate, actually increased the total cost for about 4%. In response to my discontent he simply said, that he charged my card this way, because it is more profitable for the hotel. Simply speaking, it was very much like a little fraud that cost me an extra few hundred euros, which the hotel has additionally and unfairly earned. However, the most outrageous and upsetting was my conversation with the new general manager of Kaiserhof hotel, with Mr. Clemens [-]. I introduced myself as Dr. Tseytlin and kindly asked him to introduce himself. So, he introduced himself as Dr. [-]. Taking into consideration that Mr. [-] is neither PhD nor MD, I find his behavior to be offensive. Next, instead of simply apologizing for at least unprofessional (or should it be classified as fraudulent?) actions of his employee, he rudely and mockingly informed me that they are right, and all the hotels follow such practice. At the same time, he did everything to provoke me to a conflict. It is unfortunate that we will have to change our long-standing tradition, but I am deeply offended by the behavior of the hotel general manager and will not stay in Kaiserhof anymore. And I do not recommend others to stay there.
This is for sure one of the best hotel in Kitzbühel! The breakfast was amazing, one of the most delicious and enjoyable breakfasts I’ve ever had. Great massage, great service and staff, great spa either. For sure I would recommend it and for sure I will come back!
Right underneath the gondola and across the street from Kinderland, this hotel is really in the perfect location. And all the boutiques of Kitzbuhel are a short walk away. The Kaiserhof is truly a special hotel with great service, delicious breakfast and if you eat at the restaurant, really good food. They have a sauna, work out room, kids play room, pool, and a ski storage room. They also have free non-alcoholic beverages in your room that’s replenished every day. We stayed during Christmas and were surprised with a bottle of champagne, toys, a candle and cookies. Such a nice touch. Will definitely come back.
The Kaiserhof could not be better situated for the Hahnenkamm ski lift - and after a long day on the slopes the run down ends just 15m from the hotel's ski and boot room. A clean and comfortable bedroom (if a little too warm on arrival) with a view of the mountains beyond the town; an excellent restaurant, with a new menu every evening and a good range of wines; a 10m indoor pool and a superb spa/sauna/wellness/gym complex. Above all, attentive and friendly staff who made our stay as enjoyable as it could be.
I was lucky to be here on business- fantastic welcome, gorgeous room, comfortable bed, amazing meal in the restaurant and a super experience. Mini bar had free of charge soft drinks, which was great after a long day. Wifi was great, good toiletries and facilities in the bathroom. There was a spa, which I sadly had no time to use, but the basket including towels to take to the spa was a nice touch and there were robes/ slippers for guests to use
Very good. Lovely and scenic. Walking for young and old Easy to travel by train to various areas Various types of choices of food The seating for both breakfast and dinner are quite good. Swimming pool is small but good.
Stayed for a week half board 13th Sept at this lovely hotel. We choose this hotel mainly due to the location of the cable car, as we were here for a walking week. We had a balcony room overlooking the Cable car. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We found all the staff to be very friendly, and the food was excellent! The Chef, was extremely accommodating with my dairy intolerance, and adapted anything on the evening menu so I had an excellent choice which was wonderful. I would recommend this hotel, great location, lovely comfortable room and bed, friendly staff, excellent food, what more could you want?
We have just spent a week at the Kaiserhof - having been looked after the whole time by friendly and efficient staff. From the first welcome to the final morning we couldn't find fault with the way the hotel was run. The staff seem to have a knack of remembering requests from one day to the next. Special mention should go to Andrei in the bar and restaurant and to Daniel in the restaurant, although service generally was first class. The quality of food was exceptional and we would have no problem in recommending the hotel to prospective visitors. Our room was perfect - the view up the mountain was stunning and housekeeping couldn't be faulted.
Stopped there for an overnight stay from Rijeka to Bad Boll. Stayed in many hotels during our trip through Slovenia.Croatia and Austria - this one topped them all. Location - accommodations - bar - restaurant and service all an A1. Definitly comming back. Great job GH
