The best hotel in Kitzbüheler.The tracks is nice. The breakfast is nice.I was upgraded to The presidential suite in a private wing of the hotel with limited access.In this apartment,if you stand at the door of the bedroom,the beds are on the snow.

First the in or out Ski it is not even truth, because you have to take first the student ski lift wich always been full and after you reach the slots. Wellness is so loud because everything made by glass and if someone closed the door then the whole glass is vibrating. Also really small place for adult section SAUNA and all the kids are goes true on these! Private ski storage is not available (5*) but in the public ski storage is a mass someone was stoled our boots and the Manager was told that we have to (the Guest) investigating at night - when all the skier come back, - who was that because they do not have time for that! Restaurant is only buffet style which is ok, but everyday same food? But in the Hotel available an other restaurant to spend more many! The rooms are quiet OK, but on the pictures it’s looks mutch better! Think over these is a really 5 star Hotel!

The stay in the hotel was quite ugly. Overall impression is negative and it projects to the whole resort area too. My first and last time in Jochberg, Kitzbuhel and the whole region. For the first two days of staying in the hotel I felt deeply disappointed by a number of minor things that to my knowledge shouldn't be happening in a 5 star deluxe hotel. I had to ask for everything at least twice - such things as extra pillows and vanity kits can't be delivered upon first request. At breakfast the concierge was not polite with my wife saying that she picked a table by herself and she didn't let him know the room number but when we entered the restaurant there was no one. On the first day the room cleaning came only at 2 pm for the first time and the second day they didn't come for the night service at all. The third day they didn’t come at not neither for morning of evening cleaning. At the bar I waited for 30 minutes for a gin-tonic and the bar lady was extremely rude saying that she was not supposed to look for me outside the bar (though I sat on the sofa next to the entrance, since all the seats in the bar were occupied) so she just ignored my request. At the pool area the barmen also was far from efficient - it took him over 40 minutes to make me a tea. At least he apologized. Overall hotel staff was close to rude, unwilling to help the feeling was very unpleasant. I wrote the same letter to the director of the hotel on the 4th day of my stay and he responded (see his letter in the photos). I greatly appreciate that it was hand written and it followed by a bottle of good champagne. After that few minor things changed for the better but the stay was already ruined. It looks like the hotel is substantially understaffed and those employees who are working they are overloaded thus irritated and rude.

We choosed the Kempinski Hotel because we visited in our last trip the Kempinski in Munich and also the Kempinski in St.Moritz unfortunately is that not a competition Breakfast buffet at the other Hotel was 3 classes different the variety here at Jochberg is quite bad and not so tasty at all!! The rooms are good clean and quite big! The all round service is ok!!! Honestly think for this money u can find a better stay!!

We like the complementary taxi service, nice breakfast , spa was great! Needs to improve in children area, the lady was lazy and just looking her phone instead of playing watching couple of kids, also there was a strange smell from the sink in the room that was not fixed during our stay

We were here with kids between 3 and 7 years old, and we can only recommend this hotel to those who want to spent some time in mountains with children. Hotel offers connecting rooms. And there is always something to do with kids: nice outside playground, kids club on two levels where they can do a lot of things under supervision of professional animators, one of the best ski-school which we ever got, swimming pool and etc. For parents there are nice bar-lounge, saunas and outside-heated pool, spa.

Been there for a conference. The hotel is plushy, modern and with mountain style combined. Rooms are large, well appointed, clean and modern. The spa looks cool, with a small indoor pool but people prefer the outdoor heated one. Sauna, gym, etc. The breakfast is very nice, variety enough, vegetables and fruits included. Though, don’t ask for eggs Benedict as they are far... the bar and the vinoteque are nice and well pointed. The price is accordingly and around are a lot of sky places but nothing else. Cab to Kitzbuhel is 25 euros.

We were 3 families with children who spent a week in this hotel. "+" first: quiet family atmsphere in the hotel, a lot of place in two large lobbies with fireplaces, ski slopes coming right to the hotelp doors, ski instructors, rentals, ski shop, storage room, Mercedes B test driving option, reliable recommendation re dine around from concierge, fantastic SPA facilities, including selection of saunas with exit to outdoor heated pools - kids might remind you Turkish vacations, but still, all rooms have gorgeous mountain views, breakfast is top class. As Jochberg is small village with few houses along the road, hotel has a shuttle service to Kitzbuhel (do not over rely on return pick-ups). Now to "-": service, service and dinners. I had strong impresion that the entire team of waiters was taken from touristic colleague for training (slow, unattentive, forgeting and missing orders, though polite and friendly), Rubin bar has strong tobacco smell - one would hardly enjoy such environment, massage technics and skills are poor and are not worth spending money, bed lienen was changed only once 1 day before our departure, no lunch in restaurant, just snacks in the lobby. And finally Steinberg chef... who provided us his new reading of local Tyrolean cousine and timeless coulinary hits. Well, reading here dominates over cooking and food. Not a single hit to remember and to tease friends in Facebook. Thus, our half-board prepaid a-la-carte menu was total waste of money. We had to explore other fine dining venues and found at least 4 chefs in Jochberg who are real masters in gastronomic coulinary and with whom we enjoyed Tyrolean traditional food both in "retro & modern" styles. Those chefs were often noticed in the dining rooms talking to clients and even willing to cook individually set dinner beyond standard menu. Otherwise it was fantastic ski escape in quiet sleepy village of Jochberg (some sort of drive and shopping is available in Kitzbuhel - 20 min drive).

Located about 20 minutes by car from Kitzbuehel (about 35 euro by taxi) on a road (there is a small village of several houses and a church up about 200 meters and a few houses down the hotel. 3 or 4 restaurants within walking distance. This is a ski-in hotel, there is a ski-rent and a storage in the hotel and you can buy skipasses from the concierge. There is also a ski-school with instructors in the hotel. We did not book an instrutor in advance, but could find one on the spot for the next day upon arrival. Instructor cost us 760 euro for two persons for three days. There is a small slope (about 600 meters long) next to the hotel with a drag lift (free of charge) which takes you up and beginners can use it, you also use it to get to the big montain(s) in the area (for this you need a ski-pass). There is a 25-meter outdoor pool (which is open during the day during winter), there is also a 10-meter warm pool next to it and a spa area with 5 saunas, including one near the pool in the open area outside the hotel. Spa zone is quite nice. Rooms are large, bathroom area is made of glass and if you want privacy, it is covered with curtains. There is a tea pot in the room, no coffee machine. Beds are fine. Wifi is reasonable (it was free for our room). Only one Russian language channel (ORT). Service in the hotel is attentive (they are really trying), but ocasionally unprofessional. Breakfasts are excellent (fresh juices, egg-station, sausages, salmon and other marinated fish, cakes, self-service tea-making facilities). Dinners were fine, although on our first day, food was auwful. But during subsequent days, things seemed to have improved and dinners were fine. Sometimes service was slow, but this depends on who serves your table, and when you ask they bring things quickly. Ocasionally, it is possible to use the hotel's minibus to get to Kitzbuehel and other spots near-by free of charge.

The location of the hotel is great and the overall atmosphere is good but the service is not according to normal Kempinski standard. Especially the service during the X-mas weekend was low in the restaurant and also the check-out time was unacceptable. Big plus for the ski-rent out service and the ski-shool.
