We had a fantastic week's holiday in this hotel. It is a short walk away from the town centre, on a slight incline. We booked late so our room was not the best, but that apart everything else was excellent. The food is exceptional, especially the breakfasts, which are unbelievable. We were very well looked after by Zsofia and Erhard. We will definitely return here and will book early next time!
This hotel offers luxury in decent price. Normally, hotel has a high season in winter, but I recommend this all through the year. Service is more than excellent and You can have a four core dinner meal at the price of 25 euros. Breakfast is better than anything I have had it for two years. It has all the things including omelet making and sparking rose starting of Your day. Hotel is directly to Hahnenkamm slope and conveniently You can do hiking or down hill skiing.
We stayed for 6 days in order to walk around the local area. The Hotel is extremely convenient (3 mins away) for the local bus and train services and the Hahnenkamm lift. The Hornbahn is also only a 15 minute walk across town. It is clean, the rooms well appointed and always well made up during the day. We had a mountain view room in the old block which gave said mountain view, but mostly a view of the Hahnenkamm lift which runs between the old and new buildings. The food was excellent. We walk a lot in the Alps and stay at many hotels as a result and the Kaiserhof is definitely our No.2 in this regard only bettered by a well known restaurant in Wengen. We found all of the staff are helpful all of the time and finally the spa and other relaxation facilities were just what is needed after a long day in the mountains. We find so many Austrian hotels cater for the Ski season and pay lip service to summer visitors. Kitzbühel itself is closed after about 5:30pm and so shopping after an evening meal is impossible. The Kaiserhof we found different. It was clearly not packed, but you didn't get the feeling the staff were less attentive for all that
Stayed at the Kaiserhof last week for the second time.Absolutely loved it again. This time we had a room in the new block and whilst it was smaller than the one we had previously this time we had air conditioning which I find invaluable. The room was spotless and the bed and pillow was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. We also had a large patio area but unfortunately due to poor weather only got to use it a couple of times. The food was delicious or kurstig as I was taught to say. All of the staff we came into contact with were friendly and helpful - a special mention to Andrei, who works in the restaurant and bar and was unfailingly cheerful even when very busy and Atilla. I very much hope to return again.
Good location about 20 minute walk to main train station. Good breakfast. Our room had a view of the Mts. Staff spoke good English and suggestions for hiking and meals. Knotty pine room walls, had AC if needed. Staff dressed in traditional Austrian outfits.
We recently stayed at this hotel for three nights as part of a trip across Austria, we were immediately made to feel welcome and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful in all matters however trivial. We had a suite which was very spacious with a wonderful shower. The room was quiet, no road noise at all. The breakfast deserves special mention as it was by far the best selection of good quality food which we had during our holiday, with a rich variety of hot and cold foods which were beautifully presented, the staff were attentive and replaced and refilled dishes constantly. A very friendly waitress greeted us every morning with a warm smile and as we were a family of five, tried always to accommodate us at a table. I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vienna, not only for its convenience to the centre but most importantly for all the good qualities I have mentioned above.
We only 2 days at the hotel and wished we had longer! The warm and friendly reception staff on arrival started our stay off well and it continued to be a very positive experience. Good size room, balcony to sit and watch the cable cars going past, small but lovely pool area, this was a great choice for exploring the mountains via the cable car or the town centre. The breakfast was first class, a great choice of everything you could possibly want, even sparkling rose if you wanted a special treat! We also enjoyed our evening meal, 5 courses for 25 euros, the menu changes every night and there was a choice of main course. We would definitely stay here again, our only negative was the temperature of the room, we were advised that the new building had air conditioned rooms so we would chose that next time.
Staff and welcoming were excellent. The location is very nice. The room was very nice and spacious. The bathroom is a bit small and should be repainted. It has a low ceiling and the paint can't handle the shower water. Breakfast was nice
Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms, great spa, 5* food and really useful facilities, also the non-alcoholic drinks in your minibar are free of charge! The hotel is so close to Kitzbuhel Hakembamn (Maybe wrong spelling) train station, the town centre, the cablecar station and the AQUARENA swimming pool. If coming to Kitzbuhel you HAVE to stay at this hotel!! Should be a 5*!
