We had a great time at the Sugar Shack! The size was perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 kids under 3). The walk to the beach is about 3-5 minutes, not bad at all. The drive to the heart of Duck is a quick 7-10 minute trip. My only negative complaint, and it really wasn’t a big deal, the list of amenities listed a coffee pot, when we got there we found there was only a Kuerig, so be sure to pack or buy pods. Overall, we had a great time! (This would be a perfect spot for a couple or friend getaway).

Wonderful beach cottage in Duck

This lovely cottage was the perfect place for our stay over Labor Day weekend! It is very comfortable and cozy and beautifully decorated. The kitchen also has everything you might need. It's a short walk to the beach and you don't have to cross Route 12, which is great. It's really nice to have a place that isn't huge, too. Lastly, the owner communicated well and provided all the information we needed. We can't wait to return!

Quaint Sugar Shack Cottage

My husband and I were very impressed with our 4 night stay in this beautiful cottage. Renovations done exquisitely. Perfect location to the town of Duck and to the beach. Enjoyed our little surprised gifts! We highly recommend this rental. Definitely will stay here again. Thank you for a perfect getaway!

Perfect getaway

We loved the Sugar Shack! It’s close to shopping and restaurants. The walk to the beach is a short easy one. The house is clean with beautiful decor and the owner went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful one!

Wonderful stay!

The property was pristine and extremely well-equipped, with so many thoughtful touches. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and the walk to the beach felt very doable. We had a great time.
