Single handedly the best equiped rental I've ever stayed in and that's been a lot. Excellent communication, beautiful home, everything we needed, and so much space. Was clean and beds were comfortable. I wouldn't love the balcony during busy season as you are right next to the neighbors but it was just fine while we were there with beautiful views. We took advantage of the bikes with the nearby trail and beach chairs - loved not having to pack that stuff! Thank you for being so generous with your things!

Amazing stay! Clean and all the amenities we needed! Pool/Hot tub was a great addition. Close walk to beach and loved having all the beach stuff on site. Owner was very helpful and responsive. First time to OBX we’ll be back!

Outer Banks Getaway

Our stay couldn't have been better! The location is perfect: you cross one street and you’re on the beach, it’s in between shops/grocery stores/everything you may need in just a few minutes drive. The accommodations themselves are fun, comfortable, and relaxing. I look forward to staying here again!

Great condo

My family along with my son's girlfriend visited the Outer Banks to attend our son's best friend's wedding. To get a place for 5 adults to stay was about half the price of what a hotel would have cost and offered a lot more in the way of space. While we didn't have much time in the area due to the wedding we did have a chance to take the very short walk to the beach one night. The condo was lovely and communication with the owners was great. They even left us a gift card for the Black Pelican restaurant. I highly recommend this condo!

Great place for a family vacation!

We had another fantastic family vacation here. The hosts are very thoughtful and have everything you and your family will need for a great week at the beach! The location is fantastic as you are next to the beach and lifeguard station. There is a community pool that's great to hang out at after some time in the ocean. There are also some quality restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely be back again!

Great week in Kitty Hawk!

We had a great week.The location is perfect and the property had what we needed. Communication with the host was easy. The view from the deck is beautiful and we enjoyed our morning coffee there every day. We spent mornings on the beach and afternoons at the pool which my 6 year old loved. We hope to go back soon!

Kitty Hawk May 2024

It is beautiful. We loved time on the balcony overlooking the ocean. There was a great deal of space for the two of us. There are good places nearby for food. Highs were generally in the 70s, with rain one night and then on the day we left. The beach is perhaps a minute's walk from the front door. It was a wonderful, relaxing visit.

Perfect place to stay at the OBX.

This is a great place to stay in Kitty Hawk. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great with just a few steps to the beach. We definitely plan on coming back again.

June 2023 Family Vacay

We had a wonderful time staying at the Superheat Retreat! The home is close to several beach accesses and restaurants. Having beach chairs, beach toys, and bikes at the condo was such a blessing. Being able to pull our car into the garage to protect it from the sun was a bonus. We all enjoyed sitting on the top deck in the evenings to watch the waves and the birds- even the teenagers joined us! Our whole family rated the Superheat Retreat as a 10 out of 10. What wonderful memories we made!! Thank you!

Close to the beach and restaurants.

Our only negative is lack of towels and wash cloths. On vacation you don’t want to do laundry every day. The view from the decks was nice.

Kitty Hawk TREASURE!

Superheat Retreat is the PERFECT beach getaway spot. The location couldn’t be better. Just a 2 minute walk to the beach and a quick walk to some great popular local restaurants. This beach house is very comfortable, clean and has all the comforts of home. We were personally so grateful linens, beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards were provided because we flew in from Texas! The owners easily communicated with us about our visit and even surprised us with an early checkin due to the prior guests leaving early on their check out day. It gave us a few more hours on the beach. We can’t say enough good about our relaxing week at Superheat Retreat!! AWESOME!
