Perfect family home

Our family had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home. It's proximity to everything was great. There was so much to do at the home and in the area. We got up each morning for the sunrise, completed a huge puzzle off and on during the entire stay, ate at the local restaurants, flew kites, and so much more! The people in this town were so friendly. We really enjoyed our time and hope to visit again.

Something for everyone

This house does not disappoint! So many spaces to enjoy. Stocked with everything you could possibly need: beach chairs, bikes, corn hole, boogie boards, board games, etc! Everything was labeled. Surround sound was fantastic. This house is extremely well thought out and the owners have done an excellent job ensuring you have more than enough things to provide entertainment inside and out. Kitchen well equipped, wine cooler, ice machine, extra refrigerator. Highly recommended!!

Wonderful stay

The house was just as advertised and very clean. There were so many extras in the house including a pack n play which we needed for the baby, beach chairs, toys, wagon, etc. The pool and hot tub were great. The location was wonderful and the beach was easy to access and quiet. The owner was very helpful. We had one issue (out of the owners control) that was immediately attended to. Thanks for the great stay.

3 generations family getaway

Everyone agreed that this house was perfect for our needs. It was well stocked with all the essentials, had more than enough beds, seating, bathrooms and loved the additional amenities like the pool, hot tub and outdoor seating. Short but nice walk to the beach that we enjoyed. We went a few nights for ghost crab hunting which was a highlight. About a 15 minute walk to downtown Duck or a very short drive which we visited a few times. Beautiful drive to the beaches in Corolla where we went and found many wild horses and enjoyed cooking at home but also a few local restaurants. Overall loved our stay and can’t wait to visit again!

Best VRBO we’ve stayed in!

We were here for a girls trip and every single one of us commented on how pristine and cozy the house was. It has every accommodation accounted for plus more. It was clean upon arrival and Christi was wonderful with quick communication and prep prior to arriving. The games, cornhole, pool, hottub, and beach chairs are a major plus. We did go through a learning curve on how to use the kitchen sink (note: it’s tap-touch censored) but not an issue at all. I look forward to coming back. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

As advertised

Overall a great stay! There were some minor issues: check in time changed last minute after flights and travel were already underway, the key code we were given did not work for the door (luckily my family had waited for the cleaning crew to finish and they gave us the correct code number), had issues with some of the batteries to the TV being dead/dying, the upstairs freezer gets off axel and doesn’t close fully sometimes (keep an eye out for this). The location is perfect - Close enough to things, yet gives a nice secluded feeling. The house is so big and cleanly and each room has super cute decor. This home truly does have a little bit of everything for everyone! Would recommend this house to others.

Bright Dreams

This house was just perfect for our trip. We brought in our best friends from Oklahoma and showed them what the Outer Banks was all about. Bright Dreams was the perfect fit from the decor to the spacious interior and the pool and hot tub outside. The basketball court out front was another huge hit with the four boys between our two families! Hands down it was just a beautiful and relaxing space for us to spend time together. Christi was so good at answering all of our questions and making the check in/out process as seamless as possible. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful stay in Duck!

Great Location!

This house has everything you could need for a wonderful beach stay! We had 2 families, including 3 children on this trip and everyone had a blast. There was plenty of space and it was fully stocked! A very short walk to the beach and we even enjoyed a nice walk down to the boardwalk one morning! The great weather helped as well :). We will definitely return!

All the essentials

I have been coming to different areas of OBX for 20 years and this is the first house in about 7or 8 to actually look like the photos. Well equipped in the kitchen. Pool area was clean and had plenty of chairs and pool floats. Available bikes and beach stuff. Would highly recommend. Owner was easy to work with and very accommodating. Thanks for a great start to our vacation!

Family Friendly Home in Great Location!

Our house was perfect for all 13 of us ages ranging from newborn to 72 yrs old! Plenty of beach chairs with only a 3 block walk to the ocean. All beds and furniture very comfortable. Lots of kitchen dishes, pots and pans. There were a few maintenance issues and they responded very quickly. Be sure to bring your own toilet paper & trash bags however LOL! Plan to rent it again next year! Close to town of Duck and grocery! Nice deck furniture too!! The only thing that would be nice is to have more than 3 bikes to ride. Washer & dryer came in handy also!

Lovely vacation

My husband and my parents stayed here the first week of May to escape the (still chilly) weather in PA and we had a wonderful time. Any time I had a question, Christi answered me promptly and was very kind! The house was very clean when we arrived as well which we appreciated. We loved riding the 2 adult beach bikes that came with the house and they supply anything you could need. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk from the house and the neighborhood is really nice. We enjoyed the beach and finding all of the ghost crabs. Hopefully, we can make it back down again someday!

We had a wonderful visit! We love to cook our own meals and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The living space was beautiful but cozy, and everyone slept great. We loved going down to the beach and taking the beach toys that were provided!

Wedding weekend retreat

Beautiful and charming

This is a beautiful house. Although the house is in quiet community in Duck, it is near everything—the beach, the little main strip with Duck Donuts, and much more. We loved the renovated kitchen, the updated bathrooms, and various board games. This place is a real find, and we hope to come back again soon!
