Furnished with impeccable style “Castle on a Cloud” will feel like the beach home you would build for yourself and your family. The Kitchen and bathrooms have been recently updated with quality countertops and cabinets. Bedrooms are cute and comfortable. The gated pool area is surrounded by scrub oaks giving you privacy from the neighbors while you relax in the hot tub or the kids play in the pool. Behind the gated pool fence there is a picnic area and play area for kids beside the canal-shaped pond, hidden with reeds and native shrubs.

There are two decks that wrap around three sides of “Castle on a Cloud” and they are furnished with quality furnishings for you to enjoy the outdoors. Just off the dining and kitchen is a deck with a picnic table and café table for lunch overlooking the pool if you like! Don't forget to bring the family dog, since four-legged family members are welcome. Located on the north end of Ocean Boulevard in Southern Shores, a quiet street with quick access to the multi-use paths leading to Kitty Hawk, Duck and Corolla. Enjoy a day biking or take a run in the morning. Community amenities include a west-side playground and soccer field, and access to the Southern Shores Marina boat ramp.

Sunset Platform has a perfect position for sunset viewings. Sea Oats Park provides a basketball half-court with one hoop, a children's play area, a soccer field, and picnic tables.

Additional amenity details:
Private Pools are open from May 1, 2026 until October 11, 2026 and April 30, 2027 until October 15, 2027. Pool heat is not an option for this property. Pets are not allowed in pools under any circumstances. An additional fee will be charged to leaseholder for the chemical balance, cleaning or damage that would cause the replacement of a vinyl pool liner. Hot tubs are available year-round. Fireplace seen in photos is non-functioning and not available for use.

All Outer Banks Blue vacation rentals include bed linens, with beds made prior to your arrival for convenience. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant, and 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per sink. Kitchens include drying towels. We also provide a starter supply of paper towels, dishwashing detergent, and toilet paper.
