Great room, nice foh staff, lovely sauna area and great views. Also there were nice informal meeting areas throughout. Restaurant was poor and breakfast was a real let down for a hotel of this standard. Shame really, as it would have been great otherwise.
Spent 4nights here in December. What a fabulous hotel in a great location. Felt magical being so high up. Rooms were very spacious and the drying cupboard was a great added bonus. Staff were very welcoming and lovely. Restaurant was well laid out and great view too. Food was limited in choice but I liked that and found it extremely nice. Overall a fab stay and would definitely come back. Thanks
My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Levi Panorama's Standard Twin Room (with breakfast) at EUR123/night on 14 Nov 2016 (Monday). It was a comfortable stay and we've enjoyed the ski view. The room was clean and big. Service was great! Breakfast spread wasn't too good and could be improve tho. The hotel is located uphill at the top of the ski slope, thus complimentary gondola tickets is provided. Overall, we've enjoyed our stay there.
The location is nice: on the fell above the town, but connected to it via a gondola that stop running at 9 pm. We received a pass to use the gondola during our stay. The hotel has a spacious lobby with several dining options off it, including a bar, a restaurant and a breakfast area. The extensive breakfast included delicious pancakes, but the coffee was disappointing. There was an ice bar in an igloo when we were there in late March. A spacious café in the next building overlooks the town and serves good coffee. Café Panorama Laavu is a glass-walled warming hut with a fire. It is reach by walking though the woods. The Samiland Exhibition is worth a visit. Buy moss to feed friendly reindeer in the outdoor part of the exhibition. The check-in staff was helpful, changing the superior room we had booked for a standard room overlooking the ski slope to increase our chances of seeing the Northern Lights. Unfortunately, we did not receive the lower room rate and we did not manage to see the Northern Lights because of snow and fog. The standard room was large enough to include a sofa. The window could be opened, which was nice. The bathroom was an adequate size, but the glass-enclosed shower overflowed the shower area. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The book of art in the room was free to take home. The airport bus drops off and picks up at the hotel, but you must request a pick up
This is a big hotel at the main slope. Ski-in and ski-out is not possible at Levi anywhere else. The views are good at the rooms witch are at the slopes side. We had a junior suite. There is plenty of room for couple of extra beds ( for family etc) Decoration is neat and quite new. Drying closet includes for wet skiings outfit. Helpful and flexible service, thank you! Big breakfast buffet can be crowded, everybody wakes up at the same time 9.30. Wifi is free and fast. A privat gondol-elevator for hotel guests down to the village. Short walk to every restaurant. Big parking lot is free at the front of the hotel.
There is no better place if you like view from the room and you got slope side. Just don't take those from parking lot side. Rooms are big, quiet and spacious closets are good for travelers who like to do sports and has lot of equipments. Don't be alarmed about the location. Gondola trip to the village takes only 5 minutes. The breakfast buffet is standard Finnish style which means pretty much ok.
Located in the skiing area and with its own lift (Levi Express) as a link down to the village. Absolutely the best location in Levi, with ski-in ski-out is always preferable. The rooms are modern and bright with all the amenities you could wish for a pleasant stay. Especially good with spacious closets which are gratefully as ski clothing takes so much space. The towels were the same for several days but with the drying cabinet was hardly a problem.A little stingy with the shampoo and conditioner that was filled every other day.Nice and tidy sauna overlooking the slopes. On the wish list, maybe an outdoor jacuzzi and a ski boot dryer to do that little bit extra. The lobby is a bit impersonal, can not imagine a more fitting place than to have a fireplace with a crackling fire. Was offset by very friendly staff at reception. The best ski storage- dressing room I encountered in all my ski resort visits all over the world.Do not miss a visit to the small, charming Cafe Panorama Laavu for a completely different experience.Cafe Spiella ,Is also worth a visit for a beer or a cup of coffee. Unfortunately, Golddigger Lounge on the seventh floor is not open for visits. Will certainly return, though the trip was long.
Had a great stay at this hotel, got a room overlooking the skiing hill. Was supposed to stay one night, but after seeing how nice it was - we decided to stay one more night. New hotel, nice rooms - and very nice breakfast. In the morning you can ski straight out on the slopes, and in the evening you can take the gondola down to the center for free.
They spared no expense in building this resort. We were greatest in a friendly manner. Room very nice and comfortable. We are at all the restaurants. Food and service were both very good. Breakfast was included each morning and was plentiful. All the choices you could want. The gondola in to town was a great perk. I thought we received a tremendous value for what we paid to stay at this high end resort. I will stay here again for sure.
Fresh hotel, with exceptionally good air quality in the clean rooms. Friendly senior personell. Some of the younger staff may need training (one was staring at my 2 glasses of water and 2 coffes that I tryed to carry to our table with too few hands).
