Nice amenities in terms of room appointments. Staff friendly; however, services and breakfast were not commensurate with high price point, regardless of being in season for fall.
Workers and manager were rude and completely unhelpful. Once they had our money, they could not care less about our comfort or safety. They let two eighteen year old girls sleep in their car rather than help to find another place to stay or show flexibility with their policy (that you have to be 21 to check in, which is stricter than state law).
Beds and pillows comfy. That's where it ends. Breakfast offerings are a complete joke. This should be an embarrassment for the Lark brand. There is a restaurant on site so no excuse not to have a complete breakfast. Front desk receptionist was sweet, the manager not so much. Not sure if I would return.

Bluebird Hunter Lodge is one of those rare find hotels that just surprises you when you arrive. The property overall had that cozy, winter getaway feel, complete with wooden floors and accents, a warm fireplace, and mountain views. It was the perfect location, super close to Hunter Mountain. It was so easy to roll out of bed and hit the slopes. The only complaint I had was the breakfast options and the restaurant located within the lodge. They offered only coffee, tiny dry muffins, and yogurt for breakfast. The restaurant also offered meals that were pretty pricey. The bread that came with the meatballs were burnt but the meatballs itself were tasty. The poutine we ordered also seemed more like disco fries and it came a little burnt as well. Besides these complaints, I would still highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

Conveniently located right off the highway. Staff was very nice and welcoming. Decor was cute and rooms were very clean. However, amenities are limited - No pool, 1 fire pit (you have to light with wood yourself), and 3 arcade games in the game room. Free breakfast consists of coffee, tea, bagel, yogurt, and water. Note: parking lot is non-paved.
Such a beautifully designed space. Loved the bespoke look of the hotel. Feels like you're stepping into a modern chic ski lodge in Williamsburg Brooklyn but instead you're surrounded by mountains. Can't wait to see how they continue to transform the place
