Food and hotel were good. However, before Hurricane Melissa made landfall the storm surge was predicted to be 40 to 60 inches. The ROK is literally too close to the seas and I felt the need to leave the hotel sooner to be more inland for my safety. The ROK issued notification to all their guests that due to the impending hurricane and many flights being canceled, they said they would accommodate guests and not impose any penalties. Well, when I decided to check out a night sooner because of safety concerns due to a category 5 hurricane, the front desk staff said they still will charge me and he will talk to his manager and he will call me back. I reminded him of the letter delivered under my room door assuring guests of their commitment. It's 6 days now and still no call from the ROK. I will not stay there again because in a time of safety, they did not uphold their words.

Location was great, parking was convenient, great restaurants in walking distance, room was clean. However room service is not available. If you wish to dine in, you have to order from their restaurant and go down and pick it up yourself.

Not a bad hotel overall bit probably won't be staying there on my next trip next week, I prepaid through Expedia and was charged again at check-in, I was not in a position to argue with front desk staff it being 12 midnite and I had to be up by 5am the next morning, still waiting on hotel to refund the charges via Expedia support.

The hotel is ok, average. The staff is not very polite and they request things not mentioned in the booking, like deposit and signing papers for whatsoever, hotel policy we were told. They should work on their hospitality.

The ROK hotel is a must stay when visiting Kingston Jamaica. This hotel is near the water front and other restaurants are nearby. The bed was supper comfy, breakfast not 100 but can work with! Over all it safe and comfortable.
