Neita’s Nest is a hidden jewel!! Ms. Michele made our stay rememberable from the warm welcome, the cozy stay as well as her delicious meals. She made arrangements for our transfer to and from the airport. She also helped us set up our excursion. All rooms have private bathrooms directly across the hall from the room. My mom and I stayed in a king bed and slept very well! Robes are also provided. You do not have the place to yourself as you will share the living room and veranda with guests, however everyone was on their own schedule and we felt as if we were there visiting family! The view from the veranda is breath taking!! This place provides peace and tranquility. I will definitely be back!
Where do I begin? Let me jut say that I would love to keep this place all to myself. So I would love to leave a bad review but it wouldn't be the honest thing to do. I honestly have to give Neita's Nest a 10 out of 10. From the first night we reached there Michelle took good care of us. Even though our flight got delayed several hours & we didn't arrive till after hours she still took care of us. The grounds & the place were kept up very well. Clean & Nice is an understatement. The view alone on the hill made our day everyday. Michelle & her family are vey hospitable they made you feel at home. The breakfast was fresh & delicious every morning, Michelle provided transportation for our entire stay. The driver Lester was the best. He took us all around town. Not only did Michelle recommend places to go she also linked us up with the best tour guide ever. Karen from Jamaica Cultural Tours. I would definitely recommend Neita's Nest to anyone that wants a great place to stay while visiting Kingston Jamaica. We will definitely stay there again when we go back to Jamaica. We are like family now. Thanks, Willie
Neita's Nest B&B exceeded my expectations for hospitality and service. Unique & appropriate recommendations (touristy & local) that provided for a memorable experience. The views surrounding the property are breathtaking and wrap around seating around the home prove ample space to sit and relax; enjoying the night-time breeze and birds chirping in the trees. My only recommendation would be to provide more comfortable seating options...hammocks perhaps? With Neita's Nest, I had peace of mind & a sense of security during the trip. A++
Staying at Neista Nest was the first B&B I've ever been to and I highly recommend it to any travelers wanting to stay here. The views of the mountain side is very cool and relaxing and it's the best place to have breakfast in the morning, Michelle is a greatest cook with most amazing cooking skills, her breakfast in the morning is not to be missed. She's very creative in the kitchen also her home is very inviting and comforting, she has tons of books for reading and her living room very homey she also makes you feel right at home sitting in kitchen enjoying a cup of tea with along with some conversation. She also has great ideas for seeing attractions around Kingston or the island. You want regret staying here book book book you won't be disappointed. PS. Try the Blue Mountain estate walking tour you won't be disappointed. Best Regards From Regina & Armani
My trip to Neita's Nest was simply delightful. From a welcome beverage to breakfast on the porch, to making travel incredibly easy — everything about this stay was positive. Michelle made traveling to Kingston so easy. I only had about 18 hours in Kingston, and she helped me maximize every hour! She set me up with a tour that picked me up from the airport and dropped me right at her door, and also arranged a ride for me back to downtown Kingston the following day. Food and hospitality were second to none! Michelle and I talked about how much we liked tea, and she plucked some fresh peppermint from her garden and made a pot for us! It was so delightful, and something I'll really never forget. By far my favorite part was getting to spend time with Michelle herself. She was so warm, curious and kind, and I'm so glad to have heard about her experiences and perspective. I think I hugged her about 10 times when I was leaving — it really felt like I'd made a friend in her, and will definitely return if I make it back to Kingston! I'd highly recommend Neita's Nest — I was a single female traveler and felt safe, welcome and comfortable throughout the stay.
Following instinct for an ideal vacation spot, we arrived at Neita’s Nest late May. A unique building abreast the hill-side that sloped gently towards a dense tree-lined valley bordering an expansive mountain range with pockets of homes here and there. A flowering tree adorned with red petals, beautiful flowers and birds chirping amid fruit laden trees coupled with a pleasant welcome by the charming owner Michelle Neita, and introduction to a comfortable bedroom with bathroom within easy reach, assured us “May was the Way” . Priceless moments occurred after that arrival. How can one place a price on a little black and white curly -furred dog that used its paw to brush one side of her face over and over while staring up at you in an effort to draw attention to the bow on her hair, or the darling Miss Charmaine who patiently waited until 9:30 am to serve an 8:00 am-requested breakfast; present her signature Callaloo Cheese Omelette, fresh fruits, juice, and perked Jamaican coffee, with the sweetest smile and some local tit-bits. Meals comparable to any 5-star hotel meal were served, (and we have experienced many). However, dinners had to be pre-ordered as this was an additional service. For breakfast, expect some delicious local delights. Security was top-notch. I will return to Neita’s Nest without hesitation. Getting there is very easy, but, be warned; just like a bird’s nest it is off the beaten track and a treasured fine.
This was my fourth time staying at Neita's Nest but it was my first time in a different season (November instead of normally June-July). It was so lovely being back in the lush but tranquil surroundings of Neita's Nest. It makes for a great start to the day being able to sit on the balcony and eating breakfast with a nice view and contemplating the day ahead. Michelle is a great host and she has always made my visits to Jamaica really special occasions. I was there for work on this occasion and I was moving around to different locations around Kingston from the university to the downtown during my stay. It is always nice to know that my day begins and ends at the Nest after a busy working day Staying at Neita's Nest always helps me get get the best out of my Jamaica/Kingston visits.
I really enjoyed staying there. It was very quiet and safe. Ms. Neita hospitality skills were superb and she is also a great cook. I plan on returning to the Nest in the near future. The location was perfect!!
I stayed at this lovely place in August of 2017. Mrs. Neita was very welcoming and her breakfast was very delicious. The decor was upscale it was also a quiet environment. This was my first time staying at a bed-and-breakfast with my family and I enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
