Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bigbury-on-Sea is renowned for its lovely child friendly beaches and refreshing coastal walks. With its golden sands, Bigbury on Sea has one of the best beaches in the South Hams, and is ideal for children and adults alike. There is plenty for water sports enthusiasts as well, including its’ very own surf school.
Walk across the sands at low tide to visit Burgh Island with its unique Art Deco Hotel favoured by Agatha Christie and Noel Coward or at high tide, ride across the water on the famous sea tractor. Fabulous property in unbeatable location with gorgeous view. Definitely recommend.Our only problem was we endured thick fog from Monday to Friday - the sun came out as we drove away!
