We had a great family vacation at Carefree Bear Lodge! It was a nice relaxing spot to enjoy the stillness of nature and get to spend time as a family.

Great Lake access

Couldn’t have asked for better and more private lake access. We thoroughly enjoyed paddle board and kayak. Lots of room for large group. We didn’t go into town because enjoyed the lake trip. Loved yard and bear accents.

The best family meeting spot!

Surprising seclusion with plenty of room for your next family get together. We had six adults and a little one, each space was perfect for any particular needs. Enjoyed the waterfront, but watch your step. If you want game night, check, if you want ping pong, check, billiards, check, corn hole, check! Fill the fridge so you don’t need to leave, it has everything. Highly recommended.

Family Getaway

Beautiful surroundings and accommodations. Renting a boat for the day and enjoying the views was perfection. The house was a wonderful gathering spot for a precious time with family from afar.

Lovely get away!

Everything about our stay here was wonderful! The location, access to the water, amenities and comfy beds made for a great lovely get away for our family. The hosts were very responsive and the check in/check out process was a breeze. Thank you so much!

Private with lots of recreational activities.

This house was so nice as it was private and not a chain of cabins. There was so much for young adults to do. We cooked all our meals with plenty of kitchen necessities available. Lots of sleeping space and access to the lake was amazing! Would definitely stay again.

The house was great! Within 30 minutes of arriving, my friends all agreed that they wanted to come back next year!The descriptions are accurate. We were very happy that each bedroom had it's own sliding patio/deck doors. The hot tub, grill, fire pit, all as expected. The only ask for improvement is to re-felt the pool table.Communication with the owners was excellent! Check-in and check-out was painless. They checked in with us mid-stay to make sure everything was going well.Thanks for a wonderful time!

Thanksgiving Family Get Away

We had a great time. Loved the hot tub for this time of year. Kayak was taken down to the lake for a short paddle. Plenty of parking a huge plus as we had three vehicles. Property had plenty of space to explore. Was a quick 20 min to Silver Dollar City, and 30 min from the strip.

Location positives

Access to the lake from the property - no boat dock, but paddle boarding, etc. On the west side of Branson, so much better access to Silver Dollar City than coming from the east.

Wonderful Vacation!

The property was peaceful, very relaxing. With multiple things to do attached to the property. My family enjoyed playing ping-pong and lounging out on the deck. Lake levels were high, sad about not getting much water time. But,that has nothing to do with how amazing the place was.
