Ski Vacay

Convenient, ski in/ski out condo with nice amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub after skiing multiple days. The condo was clean and comfortable. The fireplace on a chilly night was nice too. FYI, if you order delivery, Google maps doesn’t have the right location so your driver may get lost, but that’s not the condo’s fault. Waze works fine. We made use of the kitchen for breakfasts and the oven for cookies in the evening. The kitchen was well stocked and all the appliances worked fine. And the coffee maker works, and they provided both filters and ground coffee! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve rented a condo and there’s no filters or coffee. Nice little touch! The hosts were responsive with answering questions before we arrived and we didn’t need their help during our stay. Which is exactly the way it should be. We’d definitely choose condo 6 again when we come back.

Family Ski Trip

Did a 3 three night family ski trip with 3 generations. Great place, clean and everything worked. Owner very responsive to several issues we had - staff fixed right away. Maintenance staff great guys - we had 15+ inches of snow one night and they had the place open and cars dug out. Would stay here again for sure.

Great quick get away

We booked last minute for a short ski trip. The entire booking and arrival process was very easy. The property was perfect and the big pluses were being pet friendly and right on the slopes. We will definitely go back for a longer stay in the future as the accommodations were great - having our private sauna and hot tub were a very nice perk.

Great location

You can’t beat this location if you ski at killington. Just make sure it’s the time of year that the skye ship gondola is running for ski in/ski out accessibility…. But besides that, this is a great condo.

It was a great trip. The beds were comfortable, the hot was really nice after a day of skiing. It was nice to come home for lunch instead of buying a $12 burger at the lodge.

Great ski on ski off!

Great location for ski on ski off! place is big enough for our family and friend! Loved that we can bring our dogs. Communication was easy, quick response! Loved the fire place, always had enough fire wood there for us. The sonar is definitely one of the best features! would be great if there were extra service wear though, we did cook and eat in all day and our cups and utensils run out fairly quick. Over all enjoyed the place very much!

Just what I was expecting

It was just 3 of us so it was a lot of space for just us. The place was just as I was expecting. 2 bedrooms upstairs were very nice with bunk beds and a bathroom. Downstairs was a bedroom with a king bed and bathroom. Family room was spacious. We enjoyed the hottub and tried out the sauna. Unfortunately, the trail was not open (we were there the first week of Jan) but Elijah was great at being available to pick us up and take us to and from the slopes.

Great time at a great property

Came up to Ski with my friend and our sons. The property was spacious and well maintained with plenty of amenities including our own hot tub and dry sauna. There was firewood left outside the door each day for the fireplace. We booked it for the hot tub and ski in ski out location. Unfortunately, the great eastern trial didn’t have snow, but it was a 5min drive to bear base. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return to the property again if available.

Buyer beware -

We paid a significant premium for SkiOn/SkiOff however the trail was not open and we had to drive to the slopes. They did offer to drive you back/forth to/from the slopes once per day. Read the small print - they are not responsible and made no effort to financially reimburse us for the inconvenience. Also the dryer did not work but they did bring new towels the next day. The sauna and hot tub were nice, and it probably would have been nice if the trail was open. I would not stay there again. Does VRBO have any policies that protect its customers?

Quiet, private and comfortable

We had a lovely cozy weekend at cabin 76. We had originally been headed to this cabin, but there was a last-minute repair that was necessary and the house became unavailable. Our hosts graciously and quickly relocated us to another skion/ski off property with the same amenities. We had a lovely weekend here and would definitely recommend to friends.

Great location and comfortable condo

We were a family of 6. The condo is very comfortable for that many and more. Hot tub was a dream after a day of skiing. Ski on and off was right there! The owner was in regular contact and that was appreciated when my daughter left an item that needed to be mailed to us. TV was nice for movies and relaxing. Kitchen is older, but totally adequate. Dishwasher did not work, but I’m assuming that will be addressed. Comfortable and cozy.

Perfect location

This is the second time we stayed in these units, they are the perfect location off great eastern- great for stopping home for lunch. The hot tub on the deck stayed hot and we used it a lot. The unit had a very clean sauna, but we did not use because we were so busy. Rooms were very big with lots of closet space. Kitchen could be better stocked, not many glasses (including only a couple wine glasses), and the glassware was all different. However, when we needed new pans because they were old and dirty, they immediately brought us brand new ones. Also a great spot for our dog with a big yard in back. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great location, couple areas for improvement

Spacious unit, pet friendly, ski trail less than 100ft away - great! Everything was clean, kitchen was well equipped. Interior is a little worn, exterior needs a paint job, but we were there to ski with our dogs to cuddle us in the evening so who cares!? Owner responded quickly to an email requesting a new lighter for fireplace (not thru VRBO app). Cleaning crew was very nice when we met them outside the unit one day. WiFi was fast - we binged the Mandalorian in 2 nights! Phone wasn't hooked up and we had no cell service so couldn't call for pizza or get a call from outside, until we realized our son's phone had WiFi calling enabled. Consider setting that up before you come - also, bring your confirmation email with WiFi password in case the sign in unit isn't correct as was the case for us. There are few truly ski-on/ski-off units at the Beast (and fwiw, Sunrise Village up the road didn't have open trails until 1/6), so we would definitely consider this place again. But there's a short little hill to climb up to get to Great Eastern and the best "path" to the trail wasn't obvious or easy. You'll need to walk in your ski boots carrying your skis/poles potentially in some deep snow, including the snowplow bank on side of road. Our older teens did fine, young kids might need help. This fact wouldn't deter us from coming back. And, other places along Great Eastern weren't much better. It is about 10min drive to the Snowshed/Ramshead/K1 base area if you want to drive to the easiest slopes for beginners.
