The room was big and clean, but needed more lights in the room. It is an older building and it shows. They do allow pets. The breakfast was very disappointing. Your choices were toast and waffles and coffee/juice. That was it. Someone did report an attempted break in to their work truck when we were there so just make sure everything is locked up well. Next time, I will pay a little more to stay somewhere with a better breakfast. But if you don't plan on eating breakfast at the hotel and just want a clean place to sleep, this will work.
I came to the Rodeway inn on a business trip and look forward to work just because of my stay at the rodeway inn all the staff members are very friendly and kind coming to Killeen tx i wouldn't recommend another place thanks for the great service
Hotel is being converted from Comfort Suites to Rodeway, located behind some good restaurants and next to Credit Union. Off main street. Room was ok no real issues except didn't have trash can so picked one up from front desk.
I recently stay at the roadway inn while visiting my brother who is stationed in ft hood. My stay was very pleasurable staff was friendly rooms were clean and in excellent condition. The room was decently priced for what your getting I would definitely recommend staying with them and would stay there again.
This is a great fine. Rooms are all suites. Free Breakfast. Grill and Picnic Area was nice to have Can walk to 5 restaurants and some shopping and bank. Used to be a Comfort Suites. Same Hotel. Better price.
A decent budget hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, although quite dark. Air conditioning was slightly too good, the room got quicky quite cold. Breakfast wasn't much, but it was enough. The dining room was open all day and you could use the disposable cups and plates, which I found nice, didn't have to buy any. The staff was helpful.
Recently stayed here whilst over in Texas for a competition. Rooms were spacious, tidy and clean. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The pool is a little small. Breakfast wasn't up to much but did change a little each day. Although most hotels in the USA we stayed in had a fairly standard breakfast. All in all a pleasant stay and if I ever had to go back to Killeen I would stay there
The front desk girls were very nice and helpful. My room was not really the cleanest and smelled funny. While asking for more towels i could smell alcohol on the breath of a housekeeping attend. I could over hear the housekeeper complaining about cleaning. Great front desk service was great!! one younger Asian lady front desk staff and new sales manager or director were super nice and professional!!! VERY poor housekeeping and out of uniform making it hard to know who is who. I would not go back to this hotel or recommend the hotel for a long stay and prices need to be lowered if the rooms stay in that condition. Also need to get air conditioning halls were also hot had to use towel to block heat from coming in.
While this doesn't compare to high end hotels that you would pay $200+ a night for, this hotel offered good amenities and very spacious suites at a good price. My room was nice and big and so was the bathroom. The kitchenette had a small refrigerator and a microwave, which came in handy. There were a couple USB charging ports, lots of accessible power outlets, and free wifi for your personal devices. There was a spot on the floor where a spill had occurred and was still sticky, so it was obvious the carpet hadn't been thoroughly cleaned before I checked in. The breakfast wasn't a gourmet feast, but it had a lot of variety (from eggs, bacon, sausage, and make-your-own waffles to fruit, yogurt, and cereal) and was no extra cost. It was well-stocked each of the three mornings I ate there. I used the fitness room one morning while I was there. It was a nice room with a TV and cold water station. It contained an elliptical and a combination weight machine. The elliptical was a bit rough and probably needed to be serviced. But, it increased the intensity of my workout, which isn't all bad. ;) The staff that I came into contact with at the front desk and around the hotel all seemed friendly and helpful. There are a couple restaurants within walking distance, which was nice. I walked to Carolina Ale House one evening for a beer and a snack. It's a nice restaurant with a lot of variety on their menu. There are also tons of restaurants within short driving distance of the hotel. This hotel was perfect for what I needed. A comfortable, affordable place to stay while in town visiting friends. I would stay here again!
I flew in to Killeen from out of state to attend my grandson's wedding. He and his new bride are both stationed at Fort Hood. I had a King room which was very clean and comfortable. The bed and the pillows were very comfy and I was able to get a full nights' rest for the three nights that I was there. The hotel sits off of the Expressway and is a little hard to find but once I found it, then it was easier. The room was very quiet and I heard no road noise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were also tasty. The only con that I have about this Comfort Inn is that the carpeting in the lobby, hallways and in my room all need to be updated and replaced. I would definitely stay here again, tho, if I am in the area again.
