Besides the construction surrounding the hotel our stay went well.

The room was comfy, hotel was clean, price was great. I was able to check in a little early without issue.

Room was cozy, quiet, and clean....the bed was a bit hard, but other than that it was a great deal!

Due to construction only one entrance was available And smokers were near the door! It's tough when you hate smoke but have asthma Also!

First room had a broken lock. Second room had Arab hanging on door knob inside room. It was late when I arrived so I didn't notice bathroom til in the morning. Hair on toilet seat. There are too many hotels to stay at dirty ones.

I was only here for 2 nights but overly satisfied with my stay. I was very surprised at the room including the sitting area fully equipped with microwave and refrigerator. It was clean despite the renovations in the lobby. The staff was kind and accommodating. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area. And its conveniently located off I35.

This was very disappointing. The hotel did not have a working elevator. Luckily rooms only on 2nd floor. But with a 2 & 3 year old and luggage, that was an issue. But the bigger issue came when we entered room. There was layers of dust, there was what appeared th be cola splashes on a painted white ledge between sleeping and sofa areas, and the TV didn't work. The front desk said "well it was cleaned and everything worked last Saturday after the last guest checked out and it's a brand new TV." They sent someone up and after doing everything we had done, they were able to get it to work by hitting plug plate and plugging it back in. The hotel rep said with a shrug, must have a loose connection in the wall or something. They didn't offer to clean room. After they left room, we found dirty Q-tip on too edge of headboard. We had two rooms and second room was better but also had someone else's hair on floor of bathroom. Since some of our family hadn't been able to come at the last minute, we could all fit in one room, but hotel wouldn't work with us since booked thru Ortiz. When we used shower in first room for first time, we had to rinse "sand" out of the bottom of the tub. As the night continued, everytime someone near us flushed their toilet, it would make ours gurgle. If it happened more than once, we wouldn't have enough water left in ours to flush. So to summarize 1) no elevator 2) dirty rooms 3) plumbing issues 4) wiring issues 5) staff that with the exception of one front desk lady, didn't appear to care

Hotel was undergoing a renovation but was nice, the painters got paint on the carpet being a contractor myself that's the painters fault. The room was clean and for the most part so was the hotel. There was no pool but I think they were putting in something. There's really no amenities at the hotel but they did have free wi fi so that was nice. For the money, it was a great place.

hotel staff very unfreindly. hotel in bad location

Quick check in and a friendly staff. Room is very clean and quiet. Close to the highway, fuel, and restaurants.

Clean, friendly Large wet spot on ceiling from the room above Good value for the money

Room was clean very nice. Hotel was easy to find. Great breakfast

Breakfast was better than I expected with eggs, waffles, cereal, SOS ,etc.. Overall a good hotel with everthing I needed.

We were in town for our niece's wedding. We chose the hotel because family members already had reservations there. The room was clean, comfortable, and fairly large (was a suite). We would recommend it in the future.

Customer service was excellent. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was very good.

Lotion in the room

This was a business trip and the hotel staff was the best i have seen in a long time. They went out of their way to help everyone there and to help us book another room for another employee with no trouble at all. I know if i go thru there again I will be staying at this hotel. This hotel was a lot better than some of the other ones we tried there in Temple, Tx.

Not accomodating for late check out with out half day charge. Did not warn about two bus loads of ball teams that swamped the breakfast area.
