Keen walkers will delight in the extensive flower-filled country lanes and the maze of footpaths, explore the Cleddau Estuary or secret waterway on foot with its sleepy waterside villages, many with welcoming country pubs on its shores, including Cresswell Quay with its summer charity barbecues, Lawrenny which has wonderful waterside tearooms and Carew with its majestic medieval Castle hosting a variety of events over the summer. Even better explore by boat.
