Hello First Of All The Ambience And Staff Is So Cooperative And Friendly, Specially I would Like To Say ‘Julia’ On The Management Desk Is So Cooperative And Friendly And Others Too, She’s Really Doing Great and It was the first time for me in Kiev, so the choice of the hotel was not simple. I had apreciated the location, the silent room, the general quality of the service and naturally, the historic atmosphere. May be I'll book at Ramada Encore if will come in Kiev again, and surely I will suggest the hotel, Must Visit For Comforts And Delicious Food, Thank You For The Comfort And Delicious Food, Bye
Good services, comfortable room, tasty breakfast, with the local touch. Pretty quiete. Knowledgeable, helpful and polite reception. Located right on the plaza with a big supermarket, across the street from another qiute big plaza and supermarket. 15min by taxi from the centre, 10 min to Ocean plaza. Not far from an ethnic museum/village. Had a room with a good view, the higher the better. Restorant food variaty and prices were decent, My employer places everybody in this place, for general convenience based on approval from the stuff.
Was there few days ago, I find this place absolutely comfortable for solo travelers . It’s in 10 minutes away from Kievsko- Pecherskaya Lavra, it has a post office and a huge trade center Atmosphere that connecting to the hotel . They have parking, free wi-fi, gym, restaurants . Breakfast amazing and delicious , a lot of options. Thank you to the hotel team, all guys was very friendly and helpful .
When staying at a hotel for the first time, my first impression and the customer experience are keys to a good review. Unfortunately, this Ramada hotel disappointed greatly. Check in: many people waiting to check in, yet only 2 staff at desk. Ended up getting a trainee who would not listen to our requests for a room and rolled her eyes when we asked, then argued with us until we had to get a manager. Did not get into the room until almost 45 minutes later. This is NOT a good impression for guests! Rooms: are very large, apartment sizes with a wash machine, small kitchen, separate living room and bedrooms. Kitchens are not supplied with pots, pans, utensils etc. must ask for them. Had a fruit plate greeting me in room with a card. Disappointedly, they addressed me as Mr. to which I am not. They clearly do not understand the principle of “know your customer”. Walls and floors are thin, so you can hear the clomp clomp of high heels and someone in the next room sneezing, coughing and other noises. Found bathroom floor had spots and could be cleaner, wanted to take a bath but drain plug did not work, some mold around tub. No storage for supplies at all in bathroom but has a large counter top. Good hairdryer, vanity mirror, shampoo, shower gel and body lotion supplied but NO conditioner. The quality of the amenities was not up to 4 star. Best to bring your own special products. Robe and very cheap thin slippers are provided. Room is marked as no smoking, yet the toilet and bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke. Sleeping quality was low. Large bed but room was cold and the windows NOT sound proof or airtight. The quality of the building is very cheap and so the windows are not tight. All night the loud noise of traffic is heard plus a small draft comes into the room. Needed to sleep with ear plugs and still heard the constant traffic. Also only a thin comforter is provide. Most 4 star hotels provide extra blankets in cold winter months. Breakfast: Very disappointing for a 4 star hotel, the food is of bad quality. Cheap, limited fresh, from cans and processed food. Coffee machine used powdered milk! The best seating area was blocked off yet the staff was sitting in it. NOT an inviting place to start your day. Location and quality of building: This building is located far out of the city. Heavy traffic flows all day long, so sometimes getting from the city center to this hotel may take over 1 hour. Sufficient for events in in the hotel and in expensive shopping mall next door, otherwise, I do not recommend it for tourists. Hotel looks to be very cheaply build, low quality with non-finished ceilings, using the industrial look. In my opinion, it seems to use very low quality items and does not fit with what my expectations are of a Ramada chain hotel or a 4 star hotel. My rating of 2 stars is for most staff who are friendly (some need to work at it) and try to provide customer service and for the large room size. Unfortunately, my customer experience was not pleasurable. I would NOT stay here again by choice.
Just ran a 3 day workshop here for a client and overall v positive. Pros: rooms for workshops light and airy, excellent a/v, staff man a work station on the floor so you can always get help if needed. Rooms have split walls to increase/decrease the room sizes/ food and coffee at breaks excellent/ buffet lunch excellent and you can get in and back to work easily in 45 minutes. Bedrooms spacious and well appointed/ free WiFi throughout. Staff friendly and v attentive! Hub cafe on ground floor good Main posh restaurant has good quality food. A bit too nouvelle cuisine for my liking ie small portions big prices! Cons: minor but... we were a group of 28 but on our first Day they were running a huge conference in the ballroom (100’s of delegates) breakfast was a debacle with people queuing out the door. Credit to the staff they were v apologetic and sorted the problem well. Bed Matteress and pillows a bit soft and poor quality vs rest of room standard! I had a room looking out of the front of the hotel. There seem to be guard dogs in the parking area outside as they barked incessantly through the night and could be heard even with double glazing and from the 16th floor. Top tip:Ask for a quiet room. As it’s a new hotel there are loads of trainee staff who do not know the hotel so every time you asked them they just ran off to someone who knew. Sure this will sort itself soon as they are trained up and it’s a good sign of investing in young talent.
So, it would definitely earn a 5+ stars, only if they would think more about bathroom. A bit dark - too less light, and also no small shelf in bathroom to put shampoo etc. Otherwise, it's really great with service, breakfast quality and room cleanliness. And yes - it's inside a big shopping mall and supermarket, so, you can buy all then necessities there without even walking out on a street.
Cons: No air conditioning. No air circulation in the room and bathroom stinks due to humidity. Small rooms. No fridge. Safe did not work. Pros: Good breakfast. Great choice and good sitting area. Big size conference rooms. Supermarket right inside. Good reception personal that speaks English.
This is a newer hotel in a newer building attached to a newer shopping center. Clean comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly. The adjacent restaurant served good food and the breakfast in the hotel dining room was very nice. The young receptionist had told us that breakfast was included with out room, but apparently, it wasn't. At least the manager who was working the breakfast room allowed us to eat first before sorting things out later rather than act like we were going to skip out on the bill. The hotel is located quite a distance from most of the areas a tourist will want to see. The hotel runs a shuttle to and from the airport and some of the tourist areas, but the schedule is limited. There is no subway stop within reasonable distance and there is nothing of interest I found in the immediate neighborhood. The hotel staff is young and friendly, but inexperienced. One staff member was unfamiliar with the airport shuttle system and provided incorrect information over the telephone as to the pickup location resulting in me waiting at the wrong location at the airport and missing the shuttle to the hotel. Luckily, Uber is fairly inexpensive in Ukraine, because you will likely need some form of transportation other than the hotel shuttle. The business center (two computers located in an alcove) had no lights at night so the keyboard was hard to see. The limited food places in the shopping center close early, so the only option for later dining is in the adjacent restaurant. The food was good the two times we ate their. But, as in the hotel, the staff was inexperienced. Try the chicken Kiev. Why not? It was good and, you are in Kiev. I assume some of the problems were related to this being a fairly new hotel and they will be corrected as the staff gains experience.
Nice beds and pillows. The overall space is nice. There is a supermarket attached along with the shopping mall and movie theater. I mention this because if you have the apartment there is everything you need to eat, drink, and live right there. The DK restaurant has great people but the kitchen seems unorganized and not attentive to details. 🍤 were served without being cleaned properly. The complimentary breakfast is good with plenty of options for just about everyone. Staff at the Hotel is nice looking and friendly. They pretty much just keep smiling.
hotel maid has forgotten to bring new soap and water into the room, didn't clean the floor in the bathroom. In the morning there was the only receptionist (and trainee) -which created a queue for check-out
- Free WiFi in rooms and public areas

- Onsite dining
