In my more than 30 years of international travel, the service and accommodations at the Hyatt Kiev during my recent business trip stood out as being one of the best hotel experiences ever! I'll gladly return and will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kiev!
Overall nice stay with good service and comfort as expected for a hotel of such ranking. However on departure day, I ordered my breakfast with room service at 4:30am to catch my plane on time. Breakfast came 15mn late and had to send it back because I had to leave. Such situation is simply not acceptable for a hotel aimed at business travelers.
Ukraine is not known for the quality of its service. Exception at this Hyatt the staff is so efficient and pleasant that sometimes you wonder if you really are in the center of Kiev. The hotel is very secure and peaceful without the usual obscene show of talkie walkies and earphones which seems fashionable nowadays. At the Hyatt in Kiev, bimbos don't seem to be welcome....great management in a difficult environment. I think it is the best hotel in Kiev
This hotel in Kiev is nice but it is not on the best location. There are better alternatives in the same price range. Modern hotel without any identity, the staff is friendly. In case you're looking for a place to sleep it is ok, everything else is not close by.
Looks amazing from the outside with all the glass and metal - definitely a posh affair. Nice reception with attentive staff. Nothing was too much bother. Checked in quickly and room was ready ahead of time. Nice rooms, with all the usual amenities. Reasonable shower. Could turn the room lights off without too much trouble! Feather pillows. Sorted. We had Regency Club access and we made use of this most nights we were there. Free drinks and nibbles with a great view. The pool area was really good with a great huge Jacuzzi. The changing rooms were fantastic in their own right, with various saunas and lots of space. Went to the Grill Asian dining room. It looked good - but lacked atmosphere, and the food was decidedly average - especially for the price. Overall, a great hotel in the middle of town. i would stay there again.
Architecturally, I don't think that this place has very much going for it. Luckily, what is inside is all rather good. The staff are excellent, without exception. Very attentive and very efficient, and pretty much all of them with completely fluent English. I would particularly like to thank the reception team and the concierge team who were incredibly patient, efficient and knowledgable. The team on the breakfast was also first class. This was an very very busy weekend and the hotel was pretty much full ... but there were plenty of staff on breakfast, all of whom were charming and went out of their way to help. Great experience. We had a room on the Club floor. The room was huge, and perhaps a little under-furnished but very comfortable and had all the amenities that you could want. Always nice to have a decent iron and iron board on hand! The Club room itself was very nice, and service in there was efficient and friendly. We enjoyed some very nice massages in the spa and the swimming pool area was nice. All in all, there's plenty to recommend this hotel and I would certainly stay here again.
Great room, superb furniture, lovely views across the city and its cathedrals. Kiev is a ery interesting city, with history galore, from ancient to the gripping crises of the 2014 anti-Russia uprising (now marked but memorials to protestors killed by snipers) ... this is compelling stuff to see and read about .... and the Hyatt is close to all of this. The hotel also has a lovely shop in the lobby, which features beautiful, and reasonably priced, hand-stitched, tie-died silk scarves.
Was on business trip with client in Kyiv and he selected this hotel for accommodation. Great location, tasty restaurants, clean rooms, welcoming staff... Located in the heart of the city. Highly recommended!
very beautifull, modern, quiet, comfortable, clean, friendly! at the central square of Kiev! i was lucky because i was between Christmass and New year's Day, because was the place with the most Christmas activities and a big bazzar just in front of you, where you could taste all the traditional Ukranian foods! i beleive is an amazing place for celebrating the New Year's Day with a very beautifull bar at the top of the building! Bars, clubs, restaurants not very close but you can walk a little bit more! Generally kiev is a town where you can go in many places on foot, even if is very cold!
I would definitely recommend staying at the Hyatt! It's located right in the heart of the city, you can easily walk to some of the churches, Maidan Square and the Opera House. Breakfast is included and there are a lot of great options (eggs, waffles, cold cuts, and a wide variety of sweets and pastries). The rooms are big and the bathroom was great (separate shower and bathtub). Would definitely recommend!
