We had lunch at the restaurant inside the hyatt on first floor. Staff were excellent as you would expect for the Hyatt Regency. Food was a bit too international and could have had more ukraine flavours, but was tasty all the same.
They did nothing to be in harmony with Soffiyska Square's historical view. It's hard to understand, what kind of mentality can design such an awful building on this beautiful square? The building is burning people's eyes!
This evening I just returned from an ER visit with my son. I live the in the United Sates. My husband was on business and staying at this hotel. I called the hotel and spoke to a man, not a gentleman I may add and was told that he couldn't put me through to my husbands room due to the late hour. It was 11.00am US eastern time. I told him that I needed to speak to my husband regardless. REALLY! Like i should have to explain my call to a hotel clerk! I explained that I had a family emergency and he said "ok just this one time" REALLY! Totally awful and disrespectul and no empathy response. The phone rang 4 times and then cut me off! Not acceptable!
I chose this hotel because of its convenient location and attentive staff. Rooms are convenient but the refrigerator and the air condition in my room were very noisy and there was not sufficient light in my room; unfortunately, this happens in many hotels worldwide.
A modern, functional, quiet business hotel in a very central location. Friendly service and an exceptionally good buffet breakfast. Wi-fi works well, too, some rooms have pleasant views over the city.
I had a great visit. The hotel is beautiful and clean. Staff was very friendly and professional. Food was excellent and location was great. Near many areas to visit and eat. I highly recommend this location for business, families and events.
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Kiev with my friend and his uncle. Due to his uncle's high status in the World Of Hyatt membership program, we got upgraded to a lovely and spacious suite. We had breakfast in the restaurant both mornings, which was phenomenal, and for the first evening, we were suggested to eat at a Ukrainian restaurant down the street, by the concierge Kirill. The second evening, we ate outside on the terrace of the skybar on the 8th floor, overlooking Kiev's skyline. Kiev is a great city, and the Hyatt Regency offers great service and a very friendly staff, and due to its central location is a perfect base to go out and explore!
I have stayed in number of Hyatt properties over the years. This one, by far is quickly became my favorite. Stuff is super nice and very attending. Rooms super clean, seems like they clean it more than once a day. Food is awesome. I wish all Hyatt properties would take an example of this facility and try to match the stuff and services provided by this great hotel. Will stay there every time I go to Kiev
Hyatt Regency in Kiev notified me that my membership account along with 39,000 + points was closed and points were canceled due to 24 months of inactivity. I requested to have the points and account reinstated but they refused. Harikesh Mishra Specialist - World of Hyatt Global Contact Centre refused to reinstate my points but suggested to start a new account with zero points. I think this is very unfair and they need to reconsider this. I refuse to stay at Hyatt until this has been rectified.
it is surely a great hotel but a bit overpriced. they have nice restaurant on the roof with a great view on the city. breakfast is classy with nice variety of dishes. services are fine and hotel is very clean
