Very clean facility, staff are nice and friendly. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. Parking is plentiful with security guards 24/7. Very pleasant experience. Will be back next time in town.

OMG is right! Awesome hotel

I had a great stay at OMG. Arriving to a warm welcome from the reception team, I checked in to my awesome room! It was perfect for what I needed after a week of camping - spacious room, huge comfortable super-clean bed, AirCon (ohh, the air con!!) free coffee/water, small mini bar, great bathroom...and a balcony. All for a really great price. Location is great. There is an awesome coffee shop right behind the hotel as well as a couple of local food places, and it’s only a 20 minute walk to the night market where you can get all sorts of great local food. Would highly recommend this place if you’re staying in Khon Kaen :)

Pleasant stay

The room we stayed was very clean and the staffs were friendly. The price was surprisingly cheap compared to overall including service and how comfortable the room was. There were so many outlets in the room. Central Plaza mall was quite far, but there is a cozy coffee shop nearby. They provided bicycles but there is no bike lane in the surrounding area, you must be careful.

Modern hotel

The Hotel itself is very nice and new and good value for money and in a reasonably central location, although the particular street that it's located in is a very local style back street. I booked a double bed for two nights. I checked in early at around noon and was told by the receptionist that there were no double beds available that day. I didn't believe it could be true since I was probably their first check in of the day. Finally they admitted that there were other rooms with double beds but that they were reserved for other clients who had presumably booked earlier than me. So even though I paid the extra for double bed, they simply said too bad, that I could accept it cancel my booking. Unfortunately the receptionist was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable staying there. As it happened, the room they gave me developed a massive water leak in the bathroom overnight, so they finally offered me the room I'd paid for the next day. Incidentally, I also noticed a few long black hairs on the floor presumably from the previous occupier, so if you decide to stay at the OMG Hotel, make sure you look around for long black hairs on the floor.

Had towels soiled. Had to pay 500bht. Went to Pattaya and put in laundry with no special instructions. They came out clean. I think they tried to scam me but I demanded the towels before I paid. Never go there again.

There is a fridge in the room but it switches off when you are out of the room. So water or beer is hot when you return. We dirtied the towels when they were on the floor and I walked on them, they made us pay for them. Only one person could speak english however nobody knew where anything was. No restaurant. Hotel Bussarakam 150 metres up the road appears far supperior at same price. Sounds like sour grapes but this is the first time I have ever written a poor review.
