This hotel is situated in the center of the first capital city of Ukraine. It is very nice place to stay. It has several advantages. You can notice some of them when you enter the hotel. The first one is staff. Administrators are very welcoming. They try to do everything to make your residence there perfect. They are always tidy and have a good mood. Women, who work at the bar are very nice, have a good sense of humor. The second one is rooms. They are very tidy. You have everything you need in the room. If you need something else, you can order it at any time (the receptionist works 24/7). Special thanks for chambermaids. They are very welcoming, work very hard and fast. They do a lot of work and not a lot of people understand that. As for prices, they are average. The hotel has 4 stars and prices correspond to its status.
I am now at the VIVA hotel. This is suite-207, I strongly advise this room. Spacious and bright room. There are 2 rooms for rest and work, there is a balcony. I like that a lot of pictures, and decor elements. A huge plasma, opposite a large comfortable bed. Large bathroom, bath accessories, bathrobe, hair dryer. Everything is pure and dignified. I have not tried breakfast yet, but I think it will not upset me. Not very satisfied with the view from the window. And so everything is fine, i recommend!
I am currently living here, and everything looks alright, exept that there is absolutely no heating in the room, freezing. There is other good cheap hotels around Kharkov. Pick another one wintertime. I wont stay again.. And its not 4 stars, more like 3.
The hotel is really cheap, but it doesn't offer too much. It's in a quiet area of the city, the wi-fi connection is very good, but that's all that makes this hotel acceptable. Beds are in poor conditions, breakfast is so low-quality, staff could not help me in most of my requests... Anyway, for the price I paid, I could not expect anything more.
Pretty nice hotel, I've got a suite, the only downside is that hotel doesn't have elevator, and suites are on top floor (4 th floor) so in this case, like mine you have to walk ... any way some exercises are always good for you ;)
Having traveled to Kharkov many times and renting apartments I decided that I would stay in a hotel for a change. Though Viva is not the most fancy place I found it quiet and comfortable. The kitchen does not have a very vast menu but I liked it. The waitresses are pleasant and accommodating. The hotel is very close to the metro if you want to get to your destination quickly. Good luck and happy travels to Kharkov.
I got in trouble, went to Kharkov Airport, and my luggage mistakenly sent to another country. I had no money, no clothes, only phone and credit card. Call the my booking. in a hotel VIVA. They understood my problem, sent me a transfer, the money paid for me until my problem is solved. All 4 days, while he was at the hotel, I lived, ate and services received on credit. Hotel several times to call a taxi early in the morning and at night in the airport for solutions to my problem. Provided your laptop, given a map of the city, translated into English, and showed good restaurants and places that I visit. I am here now and very happy that I got here! All my requests fulfilled and even more. Not left in the trouble, and constantly helped to solve my problem, and I would recommend this hotel as the best!
Unsmiling, discourteous and unhelpful staff and that was in our first 10 minutes at this hotel. The room design was good but spoilt by insanely thin walls that let every noise from every other occupant in the hotel filter into our room. Breakfast was almost disgusting, nothing like the advertised buffet. And, finally, when I complained about the above to the manager, almost a week later he replied by email actually criticising my complaints but offering a 10% discount on our return visit to the hotel - no thanks Viva, you should get it right first time.
Solid 4. The room was clean but towels are old, very small rooms. Hotel is quite. Has lobby bar on the first floor. - Breakfast wasn't include, but costs 55 hrn. Good location, near the Gagarina metro station. I can reccomend this hotel.
I booked another hotel, but they called me saying there is no water in their hotel, so they transfer me to another "even better". So we came to Viva hotel. I ordered Lux. Omg! This is dirty, vulgar room with dirty animal skin on sofa. They call it "wedding lux". Condition is working very loud, bath is dirty, towels are in very bad condition. Pillows are impossible to sleep. Location is awful, very noisy place near road and car washing station. Don't go there! It's 4 stars btw.
