I found the people at this hotel to be the best. If you want a hotel where you feel you are with family, this is it.. Yes, it does not have all the amenities of larger hotels but what it does have is a dedicated staff willing to make sure your needs are met.. This includes all functions of personal at this hotel. And the best is it is moderately priced and in the center of Kharkov. I have stayed at this hotel many times.. I find it the only one I will stay in when in Kharkov.
Aurora Hotel charge you before you book. The hotel is too small i.e. rooms, elevators and stairwells. The service hotel is horrible! I got sick eating their food at the second floor restaurant. It's not a great place to stay for 30 days.
Good and clean hotel. Very good service. Excellent location. A bit expensive as for Kharkiv. And I didn't notice any difference between standard and premier rooms. Anyway, I'll come back there just because of service.
We stay 1 night in this hotel because our flight was cancelled.. in the beginning reception was very helpful for us. But after my mind has changed i ll explain it at last.. Rooms are big and clean.. Bed is comfortable.. and Breakfast is good also.. You can order extra omlet or something.. Hotel is near to center. you can walk only 5 min for eveything you need.. Just be carefull for going to airport with taxi because.. when you say you need a taxi to the reception they tell you it is 150 grv.. but if you call taxi yourself you can go with 75-80 grv ;)
Excellent Hotel in good location. I was there for about 3 weeks and it was a great stay. The Bell Captain even accompanied me down the street (so I wouldn't get lost) to a computer store and helped me buy a new mouse after mine died....
Comfortably and clean hotel. Very nice and friendly staff. Very good localization. In the restaurant - good food, particularly solianka with black bread. Local beers are unavailable in the restaurant.
Part of the same group as Kharkov Palace where I usually stay when in Kharkov. Smallish hotel, well located for central Kharkov, slightly boutique feel. Have been here for 2 nights of a planned 4 night stay. Room is very spacious but furnishing is a bit basic. Good wardrobe space but no drawer/shelf storage for clothes. Had a leak from under the shower tray when I arrived, reported but still leaking a day later! Breakfast is ok, not eaten in restaurant. Ordered room service first night, 40 minutes for a club sandwich, though it was good when it arrived. Let's see how the next 2 nights go......
Very nice, modern hotel in an excellent and quiet location (5 min. walk from the main street, where most of the city's attractions are located). The staff is nice and welcoming. The rooms (at least the one I stayed in) are simple but have everything you need (the only complain I have is that the bathroom is a bit cold). Free WiFi, nice cafeteria at the ground floor. And, by the way, the street's name was changed to Alchevskaya (not Artem anymore)...
Me and my family checked in the Aurora Hotel back in August 2015 ,we chose the Aurora under the recommendation of our friends, as they described the place to be quite and clean, but after the visit I can say that we just loved the place ,its so cozy ,clean ,the rooms are lovely furnished ,very tidy, the bathrooms are so clean ,all the sheet pillows and blankets are fresh, the staff is very friendly , it was my best stay in Kharkov . The Hotel is located in the heart of the city , in 10 mints walk you will be on Sumskaya street , in the heart of Park Shevchenko and beside the karazin university . The price is not compared to the provided service .. It was amazing ..... Elina Hasan
I have reviewed this Hotel before and on my recent visit I found that it still has the high standards that I previously reported. My wife and I love the Staff, the Service and the friendliness of this Hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for the Staff, it makes no difference if they are Reception Staff, Bar Staff, Restaurant Staff or Cleaning Staff. They all do their utmost to please and they go out of their way to provide good service. The Hotel is spotlessly clean. The Restaurant serves a great well cooked breakfast with a wide choice of food. The location of the Hotel could not be better as it is very central and close to two Metro Stations. On this visit we stayed for almost three weeks and we felt totally at home, so much so that we didn't want to leave. The rooms are large and the beds comfortable. It would be unfair to mention staff members individually, but most of them felt like family to my wife and I and we look forward to visiting them again as soon as possible.
