Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as advertised, clean and comfortable. Very close walk the village but away from the crowds during busy times of the day.Red Hawk was quiet and had great access / parking.

Convenient to the slopes and the Gondola. The elevators did go down two days and they shut off the water for repairs one day, but this would be out of the hosts control. Glad we were on second floor.

Great for what we needed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was great! Super convenient to the gondola (couldn't have gotten much closer!) and the evening we arrived, the elevator had just been fixed!! While we knew about the potentially inoperable elevator prior to booking, we didn't realize how hard it would've been to not have it. The heated garage and first floor ski locker room was a nice added touch. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was also a plus. Our only minor inconveniences were that none of the bedroom light switches were connected to lights, the TV mount didn't stay hinged back against the wall so we had to be careful in our maneuvering, and due to the open to the room nature of the master bath, showers tended to be chilly. Overall, we were very happy with our visit and the things that mattered most to us (location, bedroom/bed layouts, laundry, cleanliness) were as expected.

Love the place and location, but encountered several hassles. Bathroom doors was locked upon arrival (Couldn't access), Dishwasher was broken by staff before our arrival and not reported (Hand-washed all dishes), Pool was closed and elevator was shut-down (Turns out there are no stairs to the garage). Even with these issues, it was good to getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is at a great location. Has the morning sun & afternoon shade to sit on the balcony & enjoy the beautiful view. It has a wonderful pantry and washer/dryer which few of the units there have. You can walk to River Run Village in just a few minutes. The only thing difficult was the big round table & chairs that takes up a lot of space & a little difficult getting around it in the small area. We enjoyed it so much though that we booked it again for next year. Summit County is a great company to work with. We have rented 4 units through them and they have been excellent to work with every time.

Our second stay at Red Hawk

The condo itself was very well maintained and had comfortable furnishings. The building itself does not contain noise well and for two if the days we were there children’s we’re running and screaming above us as late as 12am. Also the south elevator that was the main access to our room broke down well over 36 hours. This would’ve been ok but I have trouble with stairs. It was also impossible to control how warm the condo was. I couldn’t get it under 74-75 degrees at night which was very uncomfortable..

TV located in an odd spot and the refrigerator was noisy. Fitness center is really just a few machines in a very tight area that guests enter to gain access to the pool. Not good. Sauna not operational. Outdoor Pool and hot tub were great. Check in and check hours not reasonable.

It is on a corner, views are grand. The small patio is comfy. The bed is SUPER comfy. This was a bonus. The condo needs an update but not too much. Plates are pretty worn, duvet & bed decor pillows are outdated. No parking instructions, but we figured it out. Loved having our car parked below, inside. Couldn't figure out TV. It would've been nice to have, but we survived. Walking distance to Octoberfest. Super nice! Loved it here. Would stay again.

Tired apartment, needs upgrading

List of problems- Faucet leaks, we informed management Dish washer is not fixed property Casing on microwave is broken We have been coming regularly over the last 25 years , this is the first time the cleaners did not come in mid week. In the past, they have replenished the coffee and hair shampoo but this time they only left enough at the beginning of the week for 3 days. If they are not replenishing supplies then they should leave enough for the duration of the rental. Overall, we felt that the apartment and the building is starting to feel tired and needs some money spent on it. Having said that, it is a fabulous location .
