I really liked how close this property was to the Ski resort. It was so convenient being right by restaurants and stores; however, the building itself left me disappointed. We were originally put in a room with a shower that was dirty with other people’s hair and dirt. The drain didn’t work and we weren’t able to take a shower until a day after checking in. The hallways smelled a bit stale or musty. The previous guests left a lot of their belongings in our room which led me to believe that our room wasn’t actually properly cleaned before our arrival. My friend and I traveled from the coasts to visit Colorado and we were not very happy with our stay at Gateway. They did fix our shower the next day after we checked in, but I wasn’t able to lay in the bed due to not being able to take a shower/get clean.
