Check-in was extremely stressful and poorly managed. I was instructed by both email and text to retrieve the keys and welcome packet from a lockbox, but when we arrived, the lockbox was empty. Repeated calls to the emergency number went unanswered, leaving me stranded in the parking lot with my children. After multiple attempts through Vrbo and the emergency line, I finally reached someone who told me I was supposed to use a door code—information that was never provided in the original instructions.To make matters worse, the unit was difficult to locate due to poor signage. I had to leave my kids in the car and walk up and down a side walk with a flashlight to find the right unit. When I contacted the management company, they were not very sympathetic or helpful. Their responses were brief, lacked professionalism, and did little to resolve the situation or acknowledge the stress it caused. Overall, it was a very frustrating and upsetting start to our stay.
