Traverse City Lake Michigan priv Beachfront Home Rent

Located halfway between Traverse City and Charlevoix, approximately 200 + feet of private Lake Michigan frontage, western exposure, outstanding sunsets. Cottage will sleep 4 comfortably, ideal for a family of 4, 2 adults and small 2 children. Very large deck. The loft with king size mattress requires going up a 5 step built in ladder and may not be suitable for some people. All water related toys are welcome, no dirt bikes/ATV's or motorcycles of any kind. You will need to bring your own towels and linens, there are pillows. All cooking utensils are in the cottage, glasses, dishes, knives , forks, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. NON SMOKING.

Pets are welcome, there is a $50.00 fee for each pet you bring. Wireless internet and Cable TV as well.

The cabin is heated and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find a TV with cable channels and a DVD player. The cabin also includes a coffee maker.

Great Lake Side Retreat!

We had a great time staying at this property! We are a family of four with two girls who are 4 and 8. My wife and I are in our late 30's. I share this because the sleeping arrangement for our girls was perfect but the loft bed for my wife was difficult to climb in and out of. It would certainly not work for anyone who is afraid of heights. Other than that, we loved everything else about the cottage. We loved having our meals on the elevated deck and the easy access to the small private beach. We started a fire in the fire pit one evening and enjoyed the beautiful sunset as well. The cottage has almost everything you need other than towels and sheets. We also had to bring our own toilet paper and hand soap. Most people probably think of that but it didn't cross our mind. We were able to make a few meals there (including on the charcoal grill!) and enjoy a movie and a game night (we brought our own games). The location of the cottage is very nice too if you are not interested in staying too close to any of the towns in the area. We were about halfway between Traverse City and Charlevoix (about 30 minute drive to either one) and very close to King Orchards! Ken was great to work with and I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about him! He is very easy to communicate with and very helpful with any questions you may have. He even sent us weather updates in the days leading up to our arrival! Overall, we loved our stay and will cherish our week there anytime we think about this family vacation!

Sunset Paradise

Quaint little piece of northern Michigan property that is nestled in a quiet and peaceful "Sunset Paradise". The cabin or "carriage house" is small but cozy. A small family of four or less will be comfortable. The main (adult king) bed in the loft is not meant for an older couple as it is a little hard to get to, however it was fun for us. The best feature, by far, are the views of the Western sky in the evening. The sunsets we witnessed left us breathless and tranquil. The sound of waves rolling against the shore, majestic Bald Eagles soaring overhead, butterflies dancing on the wind and the ever present cool refreshing breeze off Lake Michigan was soothing beyond measure. If you want tranquility and need to decompress from a hectic day, please give this tiny piece of heaven a try, you will not regret it. A big hank you to the Borsuks! Kindest regards, The Janke family
