A lovely apartment in a great location in Central Keswick
A very comfortable apartment with spacious accommodation and well equipped kitchen plus extras such laundry facilities. The lounge and dining area is good. The bedroom is large with very comfortable bed and everything needed. The bathroom is beautifully done with large walk in shower. The only observation I would make for the benefit of others is that the two sets of stairs might be tricky for some.
Booking was easy and customer service excellent with friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely property in excellent location
This is a great place to stay if you want good access to central Keswick , shops, restaurants and pubs . The property is spotless and has everything you need in a self catering property. It was lovely and warm and the bed, large and comfy . The parking was close by and although it was a tight fit with our large car we managed it. We did rely on the considerate parking of others to ensure we could get our car in and out without having to manoeuvre too much , and on one occasion couldn’t get it out until we located the driver of a vehicle opposite ( Although this coukd happen anywhere ). However this property is really great for two people , I would highly recommend it , everything is very new and even a washing machine and tumble dryer . The welcome pack was s lovely touch , if we are in the area we would seriously consider returning .

A great location, comfortable accommodation, would book again.
We had a four night stay at Grisedale pike.
We found the accommodation to be warm, comfortable, spacious and welcoming with a Christmas tree and lights in the living room.
The location is good, close to shops and lovely place to eat. The welcome box for us and a separate welcome box for our dog was appreciated. I would definitely book Grisedale pike again in the future.

We've Just Booked It Again!
Everything from booking process (speaking to a real person) to the stay was F-A-N-T-A-B-U-L-O-U-S. What a brilliant wee bolthole for 2, and as central to the town square as you could possibly be (about 30 steps away). Everything in the accommodation was of high quality, well laid out and a lovely wee surprise card and bottle of sparkly for my 60th from the agent - lovely. The car parking space was right across the road and an easy hop with the bags, and even more appreciated when leaving (with much more than we arrived with due to an array of shopping). Absolutely no downsides and no suggestions for any improvements. In fact, we have just booked it again for later in the year.

Great location in Keswick
This is a great place to stay being just off the centre of Keswick. It’s a well furnished apartment with everything you need for a stay. The kitchen has a dishwasher and the washing machine and tumble drier are a bonus. Great bathroom with a waterfall shower that was so easy to use compared with others I’ve used! Lovely king sized bed which was very comfortable. As the apartment is in a busy area there was some early noise from delivery lorries but I never found it to be a problem as the location more than compensates. I would definitely book again.

Wonderful stay
We loved Grisedale Pike! Perfect base for exploring Keswick in a fantastic location for mountains and lakes too. Keswick cottages were very helpful with any queries we had, communication about parking was fantastic too. We love the Lake District and will definitely book with Keswick Cottages again.

Lovely flat
Second time we’ve stayed here. It’s a lovely flat and very handy for shopping, bars and restaurants. The only downside is the lack of views but I discovered that the fells are visible from the roof lights in the bedroom.
Fabulous modern apartment right in the center of Keswick, minutes from shops, restaurants, cinema, theatre etc with a private parking space (30 for the week) just across the street. The only minor issues were early morning (530am onwards) noise from delivery and bin lorries so take ear plugs. The bedroom also was very warm in hot weather - but that's so rare in the lake district it is unlikely to affect most stays! We would stay again, and really enjoyed the town centre location rather than staying in a rural property.

Very good Accommodation
Well presented, clean and modern apartment. The loft space bedroom is well decorated easy to use amenities. A slight caveat would be the headroom available. This is a highly recommended place with Keswick town centre on your doorstep.

Great stay.
Lovely apartment with everything you need, very clean and modern.
A good location as very close to the buses, shops and restaurants. Also central for all the walks in the area.
We can’t comment on the parking as we travelled by train.
Just one small thing, there was lots of noise one night which we expected as right on the high street but this was at 1am in the morning and went on for a while. Other than that we had a perfect stay.

Grisedale Pike
This was our second stay at Grisedale Pike & it didn’t disappoint. We absolutely love the apartment & cannot fault it. It was spotlessly clean, warm & comfy. We love how central it is & has many bars & restaurants on the doorstep.
Keswick Cottages were very helpful when we decided at last minute to book the parking space & then extended our stay. We will definitely be returning & will definitely book through Keswick Cottages again.

Keswick comfort
Very comfortable, clean and centrally located accomodation. There is a tight entry, followed by a staircase which was a bit difficult with luggage. However, it was worth it with the great rooftop views from upper floor windows. The carpark was easy but had no lock which caused problems allowing access to other cars.

Grisdale pike.
Nice little apartment in a great location.
Only downsides were the bed was very uncomfortable, which was a shame we both slept badly and the tv was way too high on the wall. Made your neck hurt watching it.
Everything was spotless though and well equipped.
Just those things could have made it perfect.

Very comfortable stay
Thought this property might be noisy right in the centre of Keswick, but it wasn't. No parking outside of the property but OK to stop to unload and load a car, and the central Keswick car parks only a short walk away. The apartment was very clean throughout and had all the basic equipment expected. The property information was OK on the tablet provided, but whilst cleaning up to depart we inadvertently "checked out" and then couldn't get back in to check on location of the rubbish bins - which need to be more clearly labelled.

Roomy accommodation for a 1 bed
Ideal central location for a short stay in Keswick. Once parked up I didn’t need to move the car as there was plenty of walks from the town.
Lovely 1 bed, modern fully kitted kitchen and up to date shower room. Lovely touch of a welcome pack of tea/coffee/milk & biscuits plus a pack with washing up essentials. Not suitable for anyone that can’t manage stairs as one set straight up from the front door and another up to the bedroom.
Being so central you have to accept they will be some late night noise from people leaving pubs and early morning from delivery’s to local businesses. Not a problem for me as an early bird and got out on walks before it became busy. Only minor downside there was a slight sewage smell at times in the shower room.
Enjoyed my stay with my dog and would definitely choose this accommodation again.

Very high quality accommodation in the centre of Keswick!
We loved this place and it's perfect location! We are regular visitors to the Lake District, and this is easily the best place we have stayed. We are already talking about booking again..
The cottage is above a shop basically on the high street, with a large kitchen/living room and bathroom on the first floor, both very modern and high quality. Within the attic is a huge bedroom, with lots of space and a super king! The bathroom has a huge shower with overhead and handle held showers, very modern and I appreciated the bathroom mirror which had lighting. Everything was immaculate and clean, and we loved that it was dog friendly and our large dog had loads of space.
The location is superb, very close to lots of pubs, restaurants and cafes and we highly recommend the orange square café a few doors away. The location of the parking is also a 2 minute walk to the cottage - we had an issue with parking as there is three of the same number parking bays and we ended up parking in the incorrect one and getting locked in the next day - I contacted Keswick cottages and the issue was resolved very smoothly and professionally and steps have been put in place to ensure it doesn't happen again to other guests.
A couple of small things, there does need to be instructions of were you can dispose of your rubbish/recycling as we didn't know which bin was ours. I took tea towels, bath towels, bath mats and a hairdryer and these were all included so it would be good if this was listed somewhere.

Fantastic cottage
This cottage really is 5 star, we really enjoyed our stay last week.
We have so much positive feedback but also a couple of things to mention, not criticism at all but just a few pointers for anyone who might experience the same.
When we arrived, we were following the instructions and managed to find the car park, but when the car park is busy and you are in a rush trying to find your bay as cars were waiting behind us, we saw 3 number 1 parking bays and at first it was hard to know which one was ours especially as someone was getting a delivery and was blocking our bay so we couldn’t actually see it at the time. It would be helpful for ‘grisedale pike to be painted on the bay or on the barrier; also we were looking for a key safe in car park but hadn’t realised it meant the key safe in the front door of the cottage so it’s worth finding the front door first, which would have been hard for me if I was on my own as had my dog and baby in the car with us so luckily my husband could stay in the car whilst I found the keys.
On the positive side, it’s definitley worth having the parking space as it’s very close to the front door and cheaper than paying for parking each day, but you do have to walk around the corner with your luggage so travel light, it took us quite a few trips as we had to carry a lot of the baby’s items.
The cottage is immaculate, it’s like a home from home equipped with everything you need. The bathroom is incredible, we couldn’t believe how modern the cottage was decorated.
The passage way is very small at the bottom so unfortunately we couldn’t put the pram up inside before leaving the front door, luckily for us we had lovely weather so this didn’t matter but if it was raining it would have been difficult to put the pram up in the rain and get the baby sorted outside so bare this in mind.
The staff were very friendly as we called them to ask about the keys when we first arrived and they were so helpful on the phone.
We would definitley return to grisedale pike again but would be a bit more prepared next time thankfully. Hopefully my review helps others aswell as it was all new to us.
Perfect location right in the centre of Keswick, easy to go for walks to the bars, restaurants, shops and the lake.
Only one point I would also make is that the social club downstairs from the cottage (next door) they slam the door repeatedly when they are leaving and sometimes this was very late at night which wasn’t ideal as our dog kept barking, but luckily she soon got used to it but if Your a light sleeper you will hear this and also the costa and greggs getting early morning deliveries. Luckily it didn’t bother us and our baby slept through it also.
We have been recommending this cottage to our friends and family as we really enjoyed our stay, we would definitely return and be a bit more prepared next time for the parking etc but it hasn’t put us off, maybe we were just being a bit silly but not to worry, we had a lovely time regardless.
