We stayed again in this fabulous hotel. The staff and location are amazing. Lovely food and spa experience. There is a lovely sense of calm about the place. There is nothing on earth like sitting in the hot tub looking out at the sea taking in the beautiful surroundings. Its a great place to recharge the batteries.
absolutely beautiful place the old building and the grounds are breathtaking it well worth a visit if you just want to relax and not move from the grounds and hotel .The staff are all so friendly and helpful really couldn't say anything bad about this place
I recently spent 3 days in Parknasilla Resort & Spa Hotel. This is a beautiful hotel in fabulous surroundings... The staff are so friendly throughout the hotel and cannot do enough to accommodate you, The Spa is excellent and the available treatments are great, also the facilities in the Spa are available even if you do not have a treatment which is excellent as many charge extra for this facility which I find very tedious. The food in the restaurant is fab and the bar food is also very tasty and reasonable. The walking trails are a treat indeed with many beautiful sights to appreciate along the way... There are many places to sit and relax to read a book or jsut appreciate the surroundings. The outdoor hot tub is just the best place to spend some time, in sun or rain with stunning views all around......A huge thank you to all the staff for making this a very enjoyable and relaxing break....xx
Enjoyed our trip to Parknasilla, very relaxing, location amazing, service very good, staff very friendly, food tasty. Overall a very good experience.I woud like to return again in the future.Thank you to everyone for such a pleasant experience.
Parknasilla Hotel is well located near Sneem off the Rong of Kerry, and it has beautiful trails throughout the property. We stayed at the Lodge, which is a 5 min walk to the main hotel. The facilites of the Lodges are a bit dated with cheaply made materials and similar to an Airbnb. We did like the space- 2 bd/2 ba on the first floor and a living room, dining room and kitchen on the 2nd floor. The lodge allowed us to be more flexible with meals and have us lots is space. One issue we had was that the heat wasn't working. We were given a radiator and told that someone would be fixing the heat the next day. The heat was never fixed during our three night stay, and we would've hoped that if the heat wasn't fixed, we would be offered alternative accommodations. The food at the hotel is mediocre for the price. The service is excelllent and the views are wonderful. I would recommend staying at Parknasilla for the experience but venture into Kenmare for better quality food.
Very lovely staff nothing too much trouble very accommodating food excellent in restaurant and bar room brilliant view great setting great very relaxing spa well presented we will be back soon cannot say enough love this hotel
My wife and myself spent two nights recently in the Parknasilla Hotel and Spa and have no difficulty what-so-ever in highly recommending this location for a holiday/short break. EVERY aspect of the hotel is top class and the location is breath taking. We have stayed in the hotel on previous occasions and we will be returning there again in the not too distant future. Spent three memorable quiet days and nights at the self-catering Parnasilla Courtyard Lodges. What a place...! Beautifully appointed, immaculately clean apartment with all mod cons. Took the time to explore and wander the 50acres of trails and with the great weather we had even took a dip in the Atlantic! Hotel and Spa staff were very guest focused, friendly and knowledgeable giving us helpful info on day trips within 60mins of the hotel. Hotel itself steeped in History and we enjoyed the abundance of historical objects throughout the property coupled with splattering of well chosen contemporary Art in the Bar area. Only down was the VERY disappointing and surprisingly drab, flavourless Seafood Chowder with -5% fish OR seafood..omg...how could chef get it so wrong with the seashore only a stones throw away!!This will, however, not stop our next trip to this Hotel in the most stunning part of Kerry. Highly recommended.
We arrived quite late and were made welcome. We dined in the restaurant and the food was superb, well made and well presented a joy Breakfast was well presented and lots of choice There are stunning views and walks within the grounds Well worth a visit
Woodland villas have all you need for a family break, they are clean and warm with plenty hot water, with great walks and nice spa facilities on site, the bar is very quiet, more catered to couples than family groups.
