I didn’t get to stay there as I had a medical emergency on the flight from LAX. I was greeted by paramedics at Auckland airport and taken to the hospital. Expedia would not provide a refund.

Beautiful cottage

We stayed in a beautiful cottage on an orange orchard. It was so quiet and comfortable. It was fantastic for our stay and I would stay here again.

Definitely my favourite stay after 3 months of travelling NZ. Such a lovely, quiet location with parking right outside. So nice to be able to see the chickens & visit the pigs and fresh fruit from the grounds were left in my room on arrival. Super friendly & helpful staff too

The property was perfect, it had everything you would need for a break away. It was nice and secluded, warm and clean. Thank you Claus for letting us stay in such a beautiful cottage, we loved our stay and will definitely return. Dyson( our dog) also says thank you, he loved meeting the Kune Kune pigs.

Lovely place. Very comfortable. I kept to myself, mostly, but the owner was very hospitable, and it made for a very nice stay for a few days in Northland.
