It was easy to give 5 stars to Ani Plaza. I ended up there after a dreadful check in to an apartment just around the corner in Abovyan Street which had a gas escape. We were lucky to be able to just walk to Ani Plaza. Immediately greeted with smiles. Staff were all very polite and attentive particularly Vigen. 24 hour bar, great gym, plentiful breakfast, clean and fresh rooms. I could not fault this Hotel.

me and my parents were in this hotel for 4 nights in july. hotel is clean, reception crews were very friendly and helpful. room service was satisfying but some time u need to call them twice😉 as they are busy. the location was very good and we enjoyed our stay in this hotel

Room size was a little bit small Aire conditions was terrible 😓 Bathroom was old fashioned Breakfast was good Location was good Personnel behavior was very good Unfortunately in the Yerevan you don't have more choice and this hotel has medium level in this city

Our junior suite is a voluminous though dark brown space, the breakfast this morning was opulent and tasteful, and the central location of tge Ani Plaza hotel makes it easy to discover the city centre of Yerevan by foot (only a 10 minute walk to Republic square). Thank you for hosting us here!

Great hotel with excellent location, clean and big rooms. I know though that there are smaller rooms than the one I've been in. We had a nice view as well. It's within a walking distance from most attractions- if not all. The only drawback (hence my rating) is the service in the restaurant; I believe they can improve the time for food serving and have waiters on the shift that can speak and understand English since after all it is a touristic hotels. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

The Ani Plaza Hotel is located in a very nice area of Yerevan and can as a recommendation from a friend. I was apprehensive, at first, as I normally stay at a 5 star international branded hotel while visiting Yerevan. The on line booking was seamless and quite fast. I did correspond with their reservation department over many small request and questions about the hotel. Each e-mail was answered in an efficient and expeditious manner. Being our first time at this hotel, I took the liberty to up grade my room to their Executive 12th Floor to a “Semi-suite” room. Also I prebooked an airport pick-up as I did not want to take a “local taxi”. Both the selection of this hotel and the airport collection was a wise decision!! The check-in process made one feel like a VIP guest and the room was outstanding with many extra amenities within the room and bath. For my wife the larger balcony was a real plus. The only perk we did not use was the “Executive Lounge” also located on the 12th floor. It seemed that the breakfast served was really a very light continental breakfast and their “afternoon snacks” were exactly that a few snacks and some soft drinks. The location of the hotel we found was in a great area of Yerevan with many famous sightseeing attractions; exchange and banks as well as famous restaurants and wine bars. The checking out process was also seamless and quite fast with no mistakes. Another benefit I found was that I reserved a rent-a-car from the agency that is housed within the hotel, thus making our car rental an ease and an effective process. The bell staff was very attentive and efficient. Our suitcases were taken to our rent-a-car in a timely manner. All-in-all I look forward to next week for my second stay at the Ani Plaza Hotel.

If you are on a budget & like a CLEAN hotel then this is your place! This is more a 3 3/4 stars = to USA standards .. Please keep this in mind :) ... It's close to the cascades, the manuscript museum , north ave. & shopping . The breakfast is not bad. It seems to always to be the same food every morning ... During a 5 day stay breakfast it changed once . The out door cafe is nice to relax & people watch - coffee is good & French fries. If your a chicken finger kind of person - across the street is a 24 hr place you can get them & fries . :) this was a score with the kids we had with us . The staff is very nice & the front desk Speaks English - . The pool is clean , but FYI. you will need to ware a swimming cap. No exceptions - I wanted to take a pic of the kids in the pool & that was a BIG NO!!!!! They DO let you smoking in the lobby & cafe outside . The rooms are no frills, basic, but very clean . My stay was pleasant one & I was located where I wanted to be . If you need to exchange you money to TRAM = Armenian currency - walk around the corner pass the corner grocery that is a ripe off for money exchange - keep walking down around 3-4 blocks to the SAS store( grocery) - as soon as you walk in the door it will be to the left - by the lockers - their rates are the best & they give you a receipt for the transaction . Unlike the corner grocery store . This was a big plus for our group !

I signed up for one month membership for the gym during my one month stay in Yerevan, but guess what: The gym does not have a single working treadmill. The gym looks like a dumping yard of old and broken machines. Can you imagine that in a 4-stars hotel in the heart of the capital city? It's very absurd and unacceptable

The staff were really nice, helpful and accommodating. And it was a nice touch that we had a free access to the swimming pool. However, the food we ordered at the hotel restaurant on a couple of occasions was horrible. Our food was like frozen microwavable meals that are made from pre-cooked products and powdery sauce from the package. The room was not cleaned every day.

This is an older but well maintained hotel in central Yerevan, which means that it is walking distance to the central plaza and other locations around Yerevan. It is at a reasonable price, so IF you are on a budget, or if your hotel room is just for sleeping because you want to be out and about, then this might be the place for you. Don't be mislead, it is not a US 4 or 5 star place, but it is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced and centrally located.
