Front garden and rear patio with sitting-out areas and garden furniture. 2 small dogs welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a pond in the garden. There are 2 steps in the front garden, although these can easily be avoided.. The Bothy is a four bedroomed, semi-detached cottage, with a beautiful garden to the front and a patio area to the rear; both where you can relax on summer evenings with a glass of something cold. Only a 15-minute drive from both Kirkby Lonsdale and the Lake District National Park, Old Hutton is a pretty, rural village well placed for touring two of England’s most beautiful counties. The surrounding countryside is ideal for hikers and bikers and with excellent shopping and restaurants in both Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale, there really is something to please every member of your party. This Lakeland stone holiday cottage is set at the top of its beautiful and well-established garden. An excellent home from which to explore the surrounding countryside with great walks direct from the door. Beach 14½ miles. Shop 3 miles, pub, and restaurant 1½ miles.

The Bothy

Beautiful house. Very comfortable and warm. Fabulous kitchen with everything you need. All beds comfy, well furnished and homely. Great views and handy for visiting local towns. Next door neighbour very helpful. Recommend. We will definitely go back.
