A lovely house with loads of Lake District character.
A lovely house with loads of Lake District character. Comfortable, well furnished with all you need in the kitchen, highly recommended
The property was lovely with some beautiful period features but we had difficulty finding it. The property name plate was obscured by foliage and unreadable and our sat nav was telling us it was on the right and it was on the left. We had to go to the pub for directions. When we eventually found it we couldn’t open the key safe and when we did the lock was stiff. Not ideal after a 5 hour journey. The kitchen was adequate but access to the fridge was nearly impossible as there was a door with a heavy spring on to negotiate before you could open it. Also the downstairs toilet wasn’t big enough. On the positive the property was clean and charming as was the lovely garden. Despite all the above we had a lovely stay.
