Located on the Big Island of Hawaii, this detached studio guest house is fully furnished, very private, with vaulted ceilings on a beautifully landscaped 3 acre privately enclosed property. Property has a gated entrance with private gate code, grounds security system, over 80 fruit trees and 2 Koi fish ponds. Studio sleeps up to 5 (one queen-size bed, one full-size futon sofa bed, and a single blow-up mattress), has 1 bathroom with shower and kitchen with refrigerator, convection oven, stovetop burner, coffee maker, blender, and all necessary kitchen cooking/eating utensils. Rental also includes a dual washer/dryer unit, clothes drying rack, armoire for hanging clothes, outdoor BBQ, outdoor patio seating and eating table for 4, fiber optic high-speed internet, smart TV, yoga mat, umbrellas and other essentials. Outdoor storage shed has 4 beach chairs, 3 beach umbrella, coolers, boogie board, 4 adult snorkel sets/2 child snorkel sets, volleyball, and beach toys that can be used by guests of the rental. Studio has a private entrance, parking spot for 2 vehicles, and 180 degree views of the 3 acre property and Koi fish pond from the patio. Pond area has 4 chairs, bistro table for 2 with umbrella, and 2 lounge chairs with umbrella for guests to use. This guest house is conveniently located 15 minutes south of Hilo and 10 minutes between the small towns of Keaau and Pahoa. There is also a grocery store and farmer’s market within 5 minutes of the rental. This is the perfect central location for all activities on the east side of the Big Island of Hawaii, including sites such as Volcanoes National Park, magnificent waterfalls, downtown Hilo, and the famous black sand and green sand beaches.
The cottage features a kitchen and a balcony or patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washer/dryer, a sofa bed, and a fenced private yard.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The guest house is ideally located just minutes from Volcanoes National Park, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The setting is peaceful, beautiful, and immaculately maintained—with gorgeous landscaping that invites you to slow down and take it all in.The house itself was spotless, private, and extremely comfortable. You can really feel how much thought, care, and love went into every detail—from the tasteful decor to the thoughtful little touches that made us feel so welcome. It’s clear the hosts have poured their hearts into this place.Speaking of the hosts, they were incredibly kind and gracious. Their warmth made the experience even more special. Our kids especially loved meeting the sweet little chicks and strolling through the garden—it was one of their favorite parts of the trip!This was one of the most peaceful and well-cared-for places we’ve ever stayed. This guest house was all we had hoped it would be from the photos - nice interior decor with a lovely lanai (porch), surrounded by green beauty. Secluded and Conveniently Located

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Jennifer's property as it was a secluded retreat that was still conveniently located near Hilo and Volcanoes National Park. We had two adults and two kids and the studio with kitchenette worked well for our purposes. It is also noted the kitchenette also was incredibly well stocked with every condiment/spice you could think of. The hot plate and toaster oven were both very helpful for basic meals at home. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed looking at the koi and chickens. No A/C but the fans and evening breezes made it comfortable for us. The hosts were very communicative and even gave us a heads up that an eruption was occurring. Probably theoat clear check in and check out instructions of any short term rental I've been too as well. Would definitely stay here again!

A Little Slice of Paradise on the Big Island

We absolutely loved the property - it was a peaceful, tropical retreat. The guest house was super clean and very well provisioned and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. There were pineapples, papayas, plumeria, orchids and so much more. It was so relaxing to sit on the lanai in the evening with a cool drink and listen to the sounds of the tree frogs and the burbling of the koi pond.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It had everything we needed and was one of the neatest and cutest guest houses I’ve ever stayed in. Amazing 2nd stay!

Returned for a second time to this beautiful property for a quick baby moon with my husband. I was just as pleased as I was during my first time here on a girls trip with my mom and sister. The location was quiet and relaxing in the country (so much better than staying in town in Hilo), and it was near enough to the Volcano National Park which made for a great drive. Aloha,This is a wonderful property to experiance. Jeff and Jennifer thought of everything we would need to complete our stay. The guest house was charming and very clean. The property was very nicely landscaped too. we enjoyed sitting on the lanai and listening to the birds and frogs.The only thing that I should mention is that there is a very large chicken coop near the guest house. The roosters woke my husband up at 4:00 a.m. So, brings some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise, I loved this place and would stay there again!Mahalo,April and Ray B.
