"Much better than it has any right to be! They've really taken what could have been a run-down old motel that exists and makes money solely due to its proximity to Monument Valley and stepped it up several notches. The rooms are spacious and clean, modestly updated, and best of all, they have a large pool and spa (open 24hrs) that overlooks a river. They've put in outdoor lighting and a wonderful little community space down by the edge of the river with a small basic grill to have a quaint little cookout while taking in the scenery. There are gentle walking trails down to the river's edge if you want to head down there and during our trip we saw a half a dozen fresh animal tracks in the silt. So cool. "
