Toilet seat not properly fastened to toilet. When toilet was flushed the water continued to flow after the flush. I reported this to the office immediately after check in. I was told that they would check out the problem while I went to dinner. Upon return I noticed nothing had been done. The office advised that there was nothing they could do about the toilet seat and that after flushing the toilet you always have to lift up on the handle to stop the flush. I stayed the night as I had just traveled for 14 hours and was too tired to move. I canceled the next two nights stay and moved to another nearby hotel. This was my first stay at a Super 8. It was my last.
I kept having trouble with the keys not working to open the door. I let them know and the owner gave me attitude, “now what?”. The owner gave me a new key but I continued having the problem. I let them know again and they did not want to help me. On top of that, check out time was at 11AM and I kept having my room opened by the house keeping regardless of the “do not disturb” hanger on the door. So I left feeling like I was being pushed out.
I can't believe that I stayed in this dump for $134. I was told on the phone that this hotel provided a full breakfast. The room to eat in was the 100 sq. foot lobby. It had ONE small table with 3 chairs. We chose not to eat there. The sheets were stained, as was the toilet. Whoever applied the caulking in the bathroom did a terrible job. It was smeared everywhere. The lighting was very dim. The receptionist was trying to talk to me and someone on her phone at the same time. I could barely read the settings on the ac/heat unit. Terrible experience. It truly looked like a revamped Motel 6!
This room was so nasty we didn’t stay for longer than 15 mins. The room smelled of cigarettes, the comforter had cigarette burns all over it. The bathroom sink had brown spots all over it.
We drove from out of town to see our kids who live in Katy. Only myself and my husband were staying in the room. My kids live with roommates so we invited them to the room to have pizza and to visit for a bit. This was at 5pm in the evening. My sons got there, they are both adults, they came in 1 car just the 2 of them and my 1 yr old grandson. My husband and my kids then left to get the pizza and a 2 liter of soda. They came back and the lady from the front starting harassing us saying we could not have 30 people in our room and we could not be having parties. She said she was watching us and said my husband had already left and came back twice and she wanted to know why. She said she was going to come to our room if she had to. We were eating pizza and talking that is it. All of 4 of us are adults but we didn't even have alcohol or anything and so I confronted her. she started getting loud with me so I was just as loud as her without yelling. my husband then got louder because she called the cops on us, not sure why!! She kept saying she was watching us and would be watching us all night. I told her numerous times we were not having a party and she said she wanted us all to leave. There is no reason at all why I should have to leave after paying for the room until check out the next day.
Love staying in Goshen staff always above and beyond to help accommodate anything in there power needed
The Front Desk was not Friendly. The Site was "Dark" at around 6:50 A.M. (site lights and hall way light tuned -off) the front desk office was locked so, there's no complimentary breakfast.
It was an ok place to stay for a quick one night stay that is relatively cheap price. Nothing fancy to have the family with, but the location was convenient for my needs.
