It was ok at check in but the gym was a little old and some of the equipment needed updating. The tred mill wasn't working. The security of the parking lot was questanable, cameras might help. A guests car ended up with no wheels and on some blocks. We were parked next to that car.
Best stay at a Hotel EVER! Staff smiles and takes care of any need. Breakfast is awesome. Almost anything you can think of available. Coffee is plentiful and ready all day. Nicole and the gang are awesome. I was staying there helping to care for some folks at the Burzynskil Clinic a Cancer Treatment Facility and their caring and loving attitude really did help the patient. I really appreciate the folks at this facility. Will be staying with Hampton because of Nicole and her staff a lot more in the future.
I stayed here to visit family after hurricane Harvey occurred. The reservation had been made weeks before the hurricane occurred, and because of the flooding of the airports our travel plans had to be altered. The staff let us know that there had been no flood damage to the hotel, and we had no difficulty changing the reservation. Once we arrived, we saw that the hotel was in perfect condition. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good also. Will definitely stay here again.
My company booked and paid for room, when I arrived they requested a credit card for incidentals. Fine I gave them my personal c/c and when I got home as I'm reviewing my statement I noticed that the hotel charged me for the stay, meanwhile my company paid for it. Waiting for resolution from hotel.
Friendly/professional staff. Clean hotel. Reasonable services. Room was clean/well-serviced. They treat Honors members very well. I've been there several times and they remember who I am and what I need.
I was very impressed with this very well kept hotel, and great value. they were accommodating a lot of displaced people from the hurricane at a substantially reduced rate, and that was very impressive to me, and even with a full house the service was very attentive and the place was clean as I've ever seen. I will make this hotel and this brand my go to from now on. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.
I stayed here while passing through in June and found it to be amazing. The staff was professional and friendly. The accommodations were clean and updated and the breakfast was perfect. I don't just hand out 5 stars but I can't think of anything they could have done to make my stay better.
We have stayed at this Hampton at least 3 or 4 times over the last couple of years. The last 3 times for a Dressage show at the Great southwestern Equestrian center, just a few miles south on Mason Road from the hotel, so very convenient. It is also very close, short walking distance really to several very good restaurants (i.e. Babin's, Ephesus, Landrys, Saltgrass, etc.). Inside it is surprisingly quiet considering how close it is to I-10. We think the breakfasts here are better than the average Hampton Inn, and last weekend had a variety of egg and sausage choices, along with all the usual stuff, I even splurged on Sunday and made a waffle - very good. Over all our visits including this last one, all the people who work here have been very friendly and helpful. This trip I had more time to use the fitness center , each of the 4 days (with treadmills, eliptical machine, and some weights - and a big screen TV) and then the pool outside the south end of the hotel. For the most part I was the only one in the pool when I went for a swim so very nice and relaxing, and the hotel blocked I-10 noise more than you would think. It was fauirly full with all the Dressage show participants staying here and at least one high school cross country team, but it was still fairly quiet and did not seem crowded. Overall a very nice stay - again.
In spite of the being at 100% occupancy, our stay was well managed and everyone had comfortable accommodations and a delicious breakfast. The staff was unfailingly helpful and upbeat. Marguerite was especially delightful as she helped at the complimentary breakfast.
Excellent customer service from the front desk. They were able to put our rooms close to our friends. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Definitely a great location if you are in town for a horse show.
