Down by the lake there are also tables and chairs that are common and excellent for picnics by the lake. The log cabin is surrounded by a lovely garden and natural plot that is excellent for outdoor activities on warm summer evenings, the lawn is well mowed which is managed by a robotic lawnmower. Enjoy the lake and the tranquility of the terrace, with partial sea glimmers, when the grill does the work of completing the dinner. A well-equipped open-plan kitchen is located in the cottage and a perfect dining area where a crackling fire can gild a meal indoors. In the living area there is a sofa group that can be converted into 2 extra beds in a double sofa bed. Two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed, the bedrooms have no doors. In the bathroom there is a washing machine, toilet and sink and the shower is adjacent in a separate room which facilitates the use of the bathroom. In the area around the cottage there is plenty of game so do not be surprised if you are accompanied by breakfast of deer grazing on the plot. There is a lot to discover near Tisnaren. Katrineholm is about 15 minutes away where there is everything that may be needed in the form of grocery stores and other necessities. Julita Gård, 35 minutes away, run by the Nordic Museum is well worth a visit and has something for both young and old, during the summer period Julita chamber music festival takes place where international artists perform classical music in a historical environment. Vingåkers Outlet is located about 25 minutes from Tisnarebadet and here you can buy quality clothes at outlet prices. By car you can reach Dufveholms Herrgård in about 10 minutes where their restaurant is well worth a visit where the kitchen prepares all food based on ingredients from the neighboring villages. In Selma Lagerlööf's book about Nils Holgersson's Wonderful journey in the chapter, The beautiful Lustgården, she writes about Djulö Manor where Nils flew, sitting on the goose, over the manor and dreamed away about what life would look like on a manor.
