Knotts Crossing Resort

We stayed in one of the motel rooms at Knotts Crossing for 2 nights. The room was small and dark, with nowhere outside to sit. The woman in the next room sat right outside, at the back of her car, and smoked non stop. The pool was basic and the restaurant expensive. We were sat at a crummy table, right in the walkway. I felt we were regarded as a nuisance. We didn't go the second night. The room was clean and comfortable, but very basic. More what I'd expect from the 1950s.

very clean park, large sites , reversing only, for big rigs, ensuite for all sites, not that clean, for $49. a night, reception was lovely, and answered all questions, grounds were lovely. Just do not leave anything out at all, as you might find something missing, , resturant was just wonderful and well worth it,

We were meant to be camping, however everything was fully booked so we were lucky to get their last cabin. Staff were fantastic, lovely, friendly people. We spent the afternoon relaxing by the pool, lovely weather. We met lots people travelling, from all over Australia. We even made life long friends, that we now visit often. Great location. Felt safe always.

Cheerful and helpful at reception. Studio room was nice enough - clean with good shower & plenty of hot water, also laundry facilities available. The restaurant is an absolute highlight. The menu provides good choices & the food is amazing! No park outside unit which was my only gripe - would've topped my rating scale if this box was ticked. Would absolutely stay again

we were there for one night that was enough. It was a fix hole in the wardrobe and the floor was cracked. They need to spend money to make it comfortable. The double bed was moving each time we turned around and for safety reason the bunk bed should have a ladder. The wifi connection was very poor and we had to asked on reception again to get it. Staff did not gave it with all the information at the check in.

Stayed in a "deluxe" room however the deluxe was from a bygone era. Bathroom needs updating - was very cramped and had badly cracked floor tiles. The grounds are pleasant with plenty of lawn areas and plantings. Parking was convenient as you are able to park right outside your motel room.

The rooms and amenities of the budget rooms need serious money spent on them, with the mattresses, the shower cubicle and wash basins very poor. The rooms were clean and reasonably equipped but they had serious trouble with the hot water. The other accommodation appeared much better and would certainly look into upgrading if we ever went there again. Great location and the restaurant food was great too.

The room was dark, bedspreads are that old, they need replacing. The brown bath tub and brown sink are back in the 70s. You just felt dirty in bathroom grout taps needs a go of bleach. Beds are so uncomfortable. Aircondition noisy you can't leave it on. Couch is under the TV. Overall rooms outdated need of updating. We are a family of 6, 2 kids and 2 teenagers should of stayed somewhere where they have connecting rooms.

We (2 adults and 3 children 10, 9 & 7) stayed in a family room at Knotts Crossing Resort in July 2017 for two nights while we spent some time in and around Katherine Gorge. The family room is a good size compared to some of the other places we stayed in on the way up from Uluru, and the bathrooms are of a good standard. The kitchenette is well equipped – we didn’t cook any dinners but had no problem finding enough crockery and cutlery for breakfast and snacks. We spent a bit of time in the pool area which has a few sun lounges and is big enough if there are only 1-2 families, but gets busy in the afternoon as people start arriving and checking in. The restaurant had some nice food including some local options (crocodile spring rolls and kangaroo steaks). Overall this was good for budget accommodation and the best option we could find in Katherine.

We had 3 days at the Resort staying in a large motel room which was basic but clean, tidy but well appointed, staff did a great job from checking in through to the bar, they helped with bookings and gave great advice on travel conditions and places to visit. We went to the resort bar for dinner each night, the food and wine was very good and reasonably priced. This is a great place to base yourself visit the surrounding areas.
