nice place, well set up, and free extras

Located in the old town of Durlach, we had free parking on the street every night, right near the hotel. I've never been in a hotel where everything in the mini bar is complimentary ! Beer, water, soda, coffee, was free of charge, Prima! if you choose to decline housekeeping, they give you a 5 Euro gift card each day to spend at the bar. Nice touch. I did have to ask for a second blanket as the one in room was rather small. other than that, nice place, very Quiet, clean, and staff helped us find excursions.

For all the reasons already noted, the hotel is the best! One exceptional plus: breakfast - it can be included, and we’re glad we did. By far, for variety, freshness- both hot and cold options- the hotel has the best breakfast this side of Paradise. Fantastic. Bar none. Two thumbs up- WAY up!

The hotel is about 5 mins walk from the train station. It is about 12 mins walk to the nearby supermarket. The room is comfortable and clean. Breakfast is nice.

Lovely modern hotel in central location.

Central location in beautiful old village. Breakfasts are amazing. Rooms are spacious, clean and fully air conditioned. The staff are extremely friendly efficient and very helpful.

Great hotel and service

I often stay here when on business and always enjoy my stay at Der Blaue Reiter. The rooms are well equipped and the beds comfortable. The adjacent Vögel bar is great for a drink although it can be difficult to find a seat to eat at times.
