Marriott Karachi Hotel

There are some rooms on the pool level which are not in the standards of Marriott, first I stay there and then I changed my room to the main building. I advice Marriott to self-sacrifices and don't count on the small benefits on that rooms because it will damage to the reputation of Marriott!

I've been in this hotel multiple times, and had an Amazing experience each time. The staff at the lounge, front desk, pool, restaurant and all the managers always treated us with lots if warmth and courtesy. I look forward to my upcoming trip. Thank you all, especially Muhammad Owais Khan for taking care of my reservations and airport transfers. Jiwani Platinum member

This hotel indeed lives up to its reputation. I have the Suite and it was just lovely. Very nice rooms, excellent service. The breakfast was absolutely excellent. Staff was very nice. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Overall a super comfortable stay.

Very nice hotel in the centre of Karachi, offers easy access to the city to do business. Good level of faculties and choices of restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful. Expensive though for what you get. Problem with this hotel is the terrible levels of sound proofing both externally and internally. And noise at all from neighbouring rooms, the corridor or world outside is not at all attenuated making it difficult to sleep if there are events on at this or any neighbouring hotels. Cleaning staff and other guests very noisy on corridors during night or if trying to work from the rooms.

So I've stayed at this Marriott 4 times this year, the only reason being it's the only hotel in Karachi where I can get points that are usable globally. However as a Marriott Platinum Elite, I'm disappointed that they've NEVER recognized my status! At any other Marriott globally, they almost always upgrade me to a nicer room, or at the very least, there's a nice personal message from the manager waiting in the room, a nice box of chocolates etc. In the Marriott, despite 3 visits this year each last almost a week, I've NEVER heard from the manager, never had a welcome message, whenever I ask for a nicer room I get the standard reply that "sorry we're full" and basically other than the welcome points that I guess they're obligated to provide per Marriott rules, they couldn't care less about their top tier members, Very disappointing.

Hotel itself is pretty old but it is in good conditions. Rooms are spacious, clean and furnitures are like brand new. All Pakistani staff working at this hotel are extremely nice, gentle and helpful. You feel warmness while speaking with all of them: door men, receptionists, restaurants staff, housekeeping etc. When it comes to the service, some of 5* European hotels should learn from Pakistani hospitality. Hotel is totally safe with good level of security. I did not feel any security tension while staying at this property. There is green park with public library in front of the hotel where you can walk.

Excellent service, great communication amongst staff and good quality food. We got a warm welcome and also the team of Vijay Kumar, the restaurant manager was outstanding. We highly recommend newcomers to choose Marriott for their stay.

Security is probably one of their main concern and you feel it. The staff is really dedicated, my room not on the road side was really quiet and had a nice view . For the rest it would definitely need renovation as it look likes old fashioned. As a resume a good place to go for business.

This hotel is expensive but the facilities , rooms and security are top class . The breakfast was great . To me the absolute highlight was the professionalism , courtesy and friendliness of the staff . Certainly would return here

It is really secure hotel in Karachi. Stuff are very friendly and helpful. It has delicious meals. My room was very clean and there were what i need. Shortly i suggest this hotel if you visit Karachi.
