Nestled in Kanab’s premier La Estancia neighborhood, this home boasts 3 bedrooms & 2 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, garage & beautiful backyard patio w/panoramic views! Endless stargazing opportunities under the dark skies of Kanab. There are also community pools, spa, pickleball courts, game room & dog park available to guests!



The Space:

If you love to hike and you love Southwestern style, Hiker's Hideaway is your perfect basecamp! With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, there's plenty of space and the home is also pet-friendly (please note there is a $50 pet fee if you plan on bringing your furry friends). You're sure to appreciate the high-end finishings and attention to detail throughout this home: granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, 9 to 12 foot ceilings and doors and stylish, comfortable furniture throughout. You'll find yourself in awe of the amazing views of red rock vistas all around the home! Located near Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, the Grand Canyon, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Coyote Gulch, Horseshoe bend, and more.



Master Bedroom: King bed, ensuite bathroom.



Bedroom 2: King bed.



Bedroom 3: Two twin beds.



Both bathrooms are spacious and have showers and bathtubs, and have complimentary shampoo, conditioner & body wash.



Living Room: Comfy couches and chair, coffee table, end table, large screen TV.



Kitchen: Fully-equipped with toaster, crock pot, baking dish, muffin tin, cookie sheet, pots, pans, tupperware, bread pan, hand mixer, and a big stock pot so you can prepare your favorite meals, dining table and countertop seating.



Laundry room: Full-size washer & dryer with complimentary detergent and fabric softener.



Garage: You will have access to the two-car garage, as well.



Backyard: Patio with comfortable outdoor furniture and incredible views of the red cliffs. Make use of the propane BBQ grill and dine outside.



You'll also have access to the community pools, spa, gym, hiking trails, BBQ area and game room. If you do bring your dogs, the dog park is right out back.



Pet Policy: Pets are NOT allowed to be unattended in the home at any time, please understand and respect our policy.).



Guest Access:

Keypad lock to open the door. We will send you a private lock code prior to your check-in.



Clubhouse and pool hours are 5AM to 11PM. The outdoor pool is closed for the winter from November 1st to the last week in May, weather permitting.



The Neighborhood:

The La Estancia neighborhood is the finest in Kanab. Master-planned, it features a clubhouse with an indoor & seasonal outdoor pool, gym & recreation room.



There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.



Equestrian and biking trails are also available.



Getting Around:

La Estancia is just minutes away from the charming and historic Kanab center, with its award-winning restaurants and shops. Our guests can hike, bike and walk directly to everything the town has to offer. Hwy 89 is less than a mile away providing access to our world-renowned national parks and recreational areas surrounding Kanab.



Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.



Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.



Other Things to Note:

Cancellations Terms: Please be advised there is a 3% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation date.



It's important to note that there are VERY strict CC&R's established in the La Estancia neighborhood. For EACH day any of the rules are broken, you will be FINED anywhere from $100 to $500, depending on the rule.



Rules for La Estancia Community:

- There is NO parking on the street whatsoever! You're welcome to park your vehicles in the driveway or in the garage.

- If you bring ATV’s, they CANNOT be parked in the driveway and MUST be parked in the garage.

- Absolutely NO parties or events are to be held in any of the houses.

- Tenants may NOT invite outside guests (friends or relatives not staying in the home) to use the common area facilities.

- Please be respectful of the neighbors who live in the community.



Please make sure to put the pool key back in its original place once you are done using it. If you lose the pool key it is a $250 FEE to replace it.
