This is the cheapest hotel I’ve ever stayed at price wise but it’s better than the Motel 6 I rented in Seattle last night. Worth the money and especially nice if you have a furry friend with you. The owners were very accommodating and I’ll definitely be staying here again next time I’m in Cache Creek! The rooms were VERY clean and VERY spacious. AWESOME for the price! I totally recommend this hotel!

The circumstances that led to me being at this hotel were not great, but the stay made it even worse. The front desk was not helpful and not at all friendly when I arrived very late. I ended up stripping the bed and using my own linens, as the ones on the bed weren't clean. There were dirty stir sticks on the floor in the room, small flies coming out of the sink in the bathroom, and I had to turn the heat on and wait quite a long time for the room to warm up. Later that night I heard trucks roaring past, and only realized the next morning that it is on the roadway itself. If you find yourself in Cache Creek, don't make the same mistake I did, and stay somewhere else.

I had booked a room online via and during the online reservation, I was asked by Booking to pay now or to pay later at the motel. I chose the Pay Online Option so that the check in at the motel is faster. I was so tired after a long day of driving. When I arrive at the Motel, the Front desk tells me that they don't have any room for single but only 2 double beds. She asks me if that's ok. Of course, it is. Then she asks me to pay and I tell her that I have already paid and that I received a confirmation from She doesn't believe me and tells me that if I don't pay, I won't get keys. I decide to call Booking. They agree with my statement and calls her. She tells them she has no room for me. Booking had to relocate me because she wasn't willing to work it out. Worst experience ever. I rarely leave a bad comment but people have to know!

Although the check in staff were helpful and came down to explain how to lock the door, that was about the only good thing. There was a very strange smell in the room and everything felt grubby. No where to put anything in the bathroom and no electrical sockets. We did not even shower here as nothing felt clean.

Although the staff was cordial and the motel was conveniently on the freeway, the accommodations were a of a lesser quality. The room was cramped, the washroom was not cleaned properly (was still filthy when we got in), and something wreaked. My friend and i tried to figure out where the smell was coming from, but just resorted to leaving the windows cracked overnight as we slept to air the place out. Thankfully it was summer so it didn't get too cold overnight. Although the price was fair, my friend and I agreed that next time we road trip through Cache Creek, we will definitely try one of the other accommodations available nearby. Again, the people were nice... I suppose.

Robbie's was a very economical motel, albeit a bit dated. We asked for a room far from the highway to avoid road noise. The room had a queen bed, a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and smallish TV. But the internet was quite good. Very well priced, but not the Four Seasons!
